Davian’s promise shook Silas so much that he wasn't able to utter a word as they dragged him out of my office.

“You didn't have to punch me, I was fine” I sighed after the door closed behind them.

Davian whirled to face me and I took back the words about him being calm. The fire in his eyes spoke for itself.

“Did you just say fine?” He hissed “He had his hands on you and was going to hit you”

My fingers curled around my arms that was now throbbing. I didn't have to look down to know there was going to be a bruise.

Davian’s eyes followed my movement and I didn't think he could get any angrier than he was now.

“It's bruised and you said you were fine” He growled “Where did fuck was Shiro when this was happening?”
