CHAPTER 10

I wasn't expecting that question from him. For as long as I could remember, nobody even asked me that question anymore.

It's pretty much general knowledge that I don't know my mother. I've never even seen a picture of her till this very day.

I mean I didn't really expect him to know this, being the Alpha and all. He had bigger and more important things to do.

But why was it bugging me that he didn't know either?

It wasn't his fault I grew up motherless. I had a father who was loving and present enough to overlook the fact that she wasn't there.

Though it still hurts that I didn't get to meet her. Didn't know if she was dead, or if she ran away. What if she abandoned me for a better life.

I don't like indulging this part of my life a lot because it was very disturbing. And sad.

So taking a deep breath and brassing myself I turned to him. “I don't know my mother” I say to him, watching him carefully for his reaction.

He huffed and walked back into the room, looking rather annoyed.
