Duncan

I opened my eyes to find Duncan staring down at me, his eyes filled with tears.

"Is everything okay?"

I asked and then an overwhelming amount of pain announced itself all over my body.

"Ahhhh," I groaned in terrorizing and agonizing pain. It was like I was being hot by a bat over and over again. and when my body couldn't take the hits anymore, I felt my body lose consciousness once again.

I woke up later to the sound of voices speaking in hushed tones.

I was in Duncan's room yet it was filled with hospital supplies.

I groaned, trying to stand up, the pain had subsided, almost like I didn't feel what I had felt just a second ago.

As if noticing, Duncan opened the door and made his way towards me.

"No, don't move, you're still..." he paused.

"Are you okay?" He asked, staring at me with remorse and contained pain in his eyes.

"Yeah," I said but my voice came out croaked and scratched.
