Chapter 51 Stopping Axel

Raija's pov

Rushing back down the stairs Axel and I both stopped on the staircase seeing Atticus looking like a hot mess. His hair was sticking up all over and his clothes were in shreds.

“My father and I got into an argument about sleeping arrangements…I lost,” he mumbled sourly.

I started to laugh at the absurdity of it all.

“We thought we were going to war! You both better behave yourselves or you will have to leave,” Axel asserted sternly. Ellis came out from the hall and glared at Atticus. Shaking his head he sighed.

“Go ahead and take the blue guest room. It's not that big of a deal. Sorry Axel,” he muttered and Atticus gasped, waving his hands around himself.
