I woke up to a loud knock on the door and I couldn’t help the groan that left my lips as I buried my face in the pillow. The knock resonated again only louder this time. I almost called for them to come in until I realized that I Was naked under the covers so instead I rolled over and hollered, “Just a minute please.”
“It’s alright darling, it just me,” I heard Elaine’s voice and I sighed, thankful it was her. I slipped on my robe and then walked over to let her in.
“Hi darling,” she said as soon as I opened the door.
“Hi Elaine,” I replied as she stepped into hug me.
“I am so sorry to wake you up sweetie, I know how hard it must be to get rest with these two little alphas inside you,” she said with a smile as she placed her hand on my stomach.

{ Caroline } I took a deep breath in of my baby girl’s sweet scent to calm my nerves but it didn’t seem to be enough. I felt a hand on the small of my back that was rubbing circles to calm me down and I knew by the feeling it had to be my mate’s. I turned and I saw that he was talking to a few warriors from our pack. Abuelo and Abuela arrived to the room just after the food did. I was setting up the dinner on the spare table when they knocked.“Come in, come in,” I told him and gave them each a big hug, or the best I could with my belly.
