Comes the Dawn

Selwyn’s POV

Time was crawling by as I counted the minutes until dawn. I felt the need to rush this final act so I could reclaim my mate. Every second we spent apart was like torture to my soul and to Maxim who was again howling in my mind. I glanced again at the clock beside the bed and knew I couldn’t lay here another minute. I threw the blanket back and sat up. I placed my feet on the floor and stood up stretching my tired muscles.

I did my morning routine quickly and dressed in my usual black clothes and boots. Then I headed downstairs to find food and wait for Rod to wake up. I walked into the kitchen and was greeted by a few of the packs omegas who worked in the pack house as maids. I nodded a greeting and took a cup of coffee from a young omega. I wasn’t in the mood for company so I made my way to the office. I sipped the hot coffee and began to make my plan for the final act to come.
