The King’s Rain

Selwyn’s POV

I gazed into the eyes of my mate as she smiled at me for the first time in ages it seemed. Our mate bond was open again and stronger than ever. I wanted nothing more than to reclaim my mate. However I was not about instant gratification in this moment.

Oh no I was going to make my queen submit fully to me and beg for release. This would be punishment for everything she has put me through with her plans. Yes they worked but I hated Rain’s plan from the start.

I slid my body out from under her and got out of bed. I watched as my beautiful Rain began to pout and reach for me. I shook my head at her and schooled my features very seriously.

I walked to the bathroom door and turned to look at her while leaning against the door. “ Come to me wench. Let’s shower before your punishment begins.” I said to her with a growl.
