“Reservation for Bien Agpalza.”

”Yes, of course, Signor Agpalza. How is Madame Belle?”

”Quite well, Mariano, thanks for asking. I’ll have my usual wine choice and probably an unlimited sangria for the lady.”

”Very good, Signor. And will it still be the chorizo and cheese platter to start?”

As he converses, the Maître D' leads them to a tree-lined alcove in one of the more private corners of the elegant Spanish-themed restaurant.

”Definitely, and add a serving of Gambas Al Ajillo if you don’t mind. Will order as we go along.”

”My pleasure Signor…. Senora…”

As she sits down, Lyra glances at the mini-chandelier hanging from the antique-looking wooden ceiling, at the display of wine glasses at the bar, the jewelry on the very few diners, and the formal suits of the waiters. She felt that she was in a five-star restaurant but the crowd outside the doors still reminded her that they were in a mall. A very posh mall, but still a mall nonetheless.
