CHAPTER 12: AT THE BAR

The next night the Feng University was hosting a celebration party for the completion of the competition.

Bruce, Wayne, and Yolanda went to a bar before the party.

Bruce was in a rather sour mood that evening.

Wayne noticing Bruce’s change in attitude asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” answered Bruce, downing his cup of liquor.

"Bruce is your grandmother upset?" asked Wayne.

Bruce took Wayne’s cup of wine and sipped it.

FLASHBACK

The door slammed with a thud. "How could you tie with that wench!" shouted Bruce's grandmother. Bruce’s grandmother was a woman in her late sixties. Bruce's grandmother was firm, serious, and stern woman. She was a slim and skinny woman with wrinkles that ages her beyond her years. She had grey hair that was wrapped in a neat bun.

"At least we still won the competition," said Bruce.

"Humph! Useless. You should have come out on top!"
