CHAPTER 14 : Imitate Facade

The pair of crimson eyes were glimmering in darkness as it comes closer to me. And I don’t think I could still run from him because I almost used my energy already.

He growled before motioning an attack toward me, and I have left no choice but to close my eyes waiting for the pain to penetrate my skin. But nothing came in, and when I opened my eyes a familiar blank face greeted me. He was on his human form now, and fully naked.

I quickly look away, and I could feel my cheeks red. I slowly remove the thin cloth that covers my face and handed it to him. I mean it’s not that big deal to see them naked after their shift, but I wasn’t comfortable with it.

“A-Alpha Killian,” I called him.

“You may look at me now, Cassiopeia.”

Sighing in relief, I move my gaze at him.

“You shouldn’t have startled me that way,” I commented.

“Where are you currently heading Cassiopeia? It’s too dangerous for you, especially since your scars are gone.” He firmly asked instead.
