Jason’s POV
There is shock on her face. She might be thinking that I didn’t purposely told her about this. That I was also going to attend this party because of Eunice. I saw the hurt in her eyes. I felt my heart ache because of it.
I turned to Patrick. “Excuse me.”
I was about to leave but Patrick held my arm.
“Bro, where are you going?” He asked. “Also, your timing is great. Stay with Eunice for a while. You don’t have any partner this evening right?”
“It doesn’t matter if I have a partner or not, Patrick. I need to leave,” I said firmly.
But it seems that Patrick is really trying to leave Eunice with me. Didn’t I exp
Jason’s POVAfter breakfast, Catheryn returned to her group. That’s when Mark finally approached me.“Sir, Miss Eunice came to me. She told me that she wanted to talk to you,” Mark said.“I see,” I replied briefly. He probably didn’t expect that answer from me. Didn’t I already tell him I didn’t want anything to do with Eunice anymore?“Have you forgotten what I told you, Mark?”“That you don’t want to associate yourself with Miss Eunice anymore?” he answered. I saw him let out a deep sigh. “Sir, it’s just that…”“She looks pitiful?” I smirked.Mark nodded. I just shook my head.“My advice to you, don’t believe a single thing Eunice says,” I told him, looking in another direction. “Because whatever she shows you, it’s not real.”“But she loves you, doesn’t she, sir?” he asked.Love? The only thing she loves is the wealth I have.“Me? That woman loves me? If she did, she wouldn’t have left and married someone else. But maybe it’s for the better. Because now… I know who I should stand
Jason’s POV When we got inside the restaurant, I never expected to see one of my business partners. “Jason! There you are!” he greeted. I smiled back at Mr. Colbe. “Good morning. Did you have a good night.” “I had a pleasant evening. Though I already missed my wife, I hope to see her soon. Do you have any recommendations to get some souvenirs?” He asked. “Unfortunately, I’m also wondering where to get some myself.” I saw him sighed and nodded. Then he looked at Catheryn. Maybe thinking who she might be. I held Catheryn’s hand. “Mr. Colbe, it seems that I haven’t introduced you to my wife. This lovely lady here beside me is my wife, Catheryn Harris,” I proudly introduced to him. Shock registered to his face, then confusion. “Did you get married? I didn’t know that,” he said then he looked at Catheryn. “Nice meeting you, young lady.” “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Harris,” Catheryn said. “We got married two years ago. Apparently, I heard that you went to another country t
Jason’s POVIt seems that I actually met Catheryn‘s friend, but I don’t know who that is. She never told me that she has friends or maybe because I don’t even have any interest in her before. But now I wanted to know about the people who she actually cares about other than me. Well, this is new to me and I hope that they will like me for her.“Are you Catheryn’s husband? The one who always makes her feel unwanted?” She asked furrowed eyebrows.I smiled nervously and nodded.“I am her husband,” I answered.“i see. Let me tell you one thing, I don’t like you even Sabrina doesn’t like you. You hurt our friend more than enough. You’re giving her false hope since you like somebody else,” she said, and crossed her arms.My eyebrows knitted in confusion. “Who told you about that? Did Catheryn tell you?” I asked.“Does it matter if she told us or someone else did?”“Actually, it doesn’t matter. I’m not giv
Jason's POVI took her inside my room and ask Mark to leave so that I can talk to Catheryn alone. I told Mark to get another room for himself.I never felt this nervous before, but I know that I need to tell her the truth. I’m sure I’m sure she will misunderstand me again.“ Look, Catheryn. This might sound like an excuse, but I was in a party last night and I was just going to stay there for a while. Just to make sure I give face to call and Katrina to celebrate their engagement just with friends and I didn’t expect to see Eunice,” I said.“I see. Now she’s back you don’t need me anymore.”Catheryn turned her back and started to walk away, but I held her hand.“Even if she’s bad, she has nothing to do with me. You’re my wife and she’s not.” I held her hand tightly. She turned her head and looked at me.”Really? Are you sure she has nothing to do with you? She’s your first love and I’m just someone,” she said, and tried to pull her hand away.“You’re not just someone, Catheryn. You’r

Jason’s POVI woke up a little late, maybe 9AM. I heard my phone bursting because Mike keeps on calling me. I told him to come to my place and tell him what he needs. I was thinking of taking a day off and thought about what I should give to Catheryn when she comes home. Then I saw the maid who only comes in the morning and opened the door for me. I saw Mike with a travel suitcase. My eyebrow raised.“Why do you have a suitcase? Are you taking a vacation?” I asked Mike when he came to me.The maid put a coffee in front of me and I thanked her. She looked shocked for a moment and left after a bow. Is that really a shocking moment? “Mr. Harris, did you forget? You have a party to attend to. To Luminhaven,” Mike said with a confused look.I stiffened. Wait, what? “What do you mean about that?” I asked with furrowed eyebrows. “You have a party to attend at Luminhaven. The annual party that you always go to. This time the party will happen in Luminhaven and the organizer is Mr. Wilson,”
