"Thank you Zale, I'll go see Mum now" She walked away from there and headed out of the living room towards the garden because it was her first option in finding her Mum.

Ever since their father had died three years back, their Mum had never remained the same. It was like part of her soul died with him and she was barely handing unto life because of them. Even with her children by her side, she still was never really happy.

Figures, her Mum was indeed in the garden, staring at the tall peach tree which she had planted with their Dad.

"Mum!" She called and the woman slowly turned to her. Recognizing the member of Wauter family wasn't that hard as they all looked very alike. The children had same Hazel eyes which they inherited from their Mum and brown hair from their Dad as their Mum had an ink black hair.

Mrs Wauter smiled when she saw her Eldest child.

"Why are you back home? Do you miss Mum's cooking?" Talisa moved closer to her Mum and embraced her.

"Yes, I missed your cooking a lot" She hide her emotions in order for her Mum not to suspect anything and tightly embrace the woman.

"You surely have became more matured after getting married. Look at you getting emotional just on the first day of marriage and running back home. Your husband is really linient with you"

"Mum, do you think there's happily ever after for married couples?"

Mrs Wauter smiled at her daughter's question "There is, depending on how your marriage worked. Unless death takes one of them, there's happily ever after. I hope you become happy in your marriage too, just like me"

'That wouldn't be happening' She thought as she managed to muster up a smile.

"So, if I was betrayed by someone to the point of death, do you think I should forgive them?" She asked. She had the intention to seek her Mum's advice before doing anything because she didn't want to misuse her new life by spending it on taking revenge only, she was seriously going to live her life for herself and do what will make her happy.

Her Mum glanced at the peach tree before replying "You don't actually need to revenge, you just need to stop them from hurting you and making your life miserable. Even though you can't kill them, you can always use other method in protecting yourself, isn't it?"

Talisa nodded "You are right, I can always make them pay without actually killing anyone" Then she turned to her Mum.

"How come you have a thought like this, weren't you always like the peace maker or something?" She wondered. Her Mum was literally the nicest person she knew.

"I just know that you wouldn't be asking me for an advice on what to do if nothing happened to warrant it. It's better to regret doing something than regret not doing it"

True though, it was indeed better to regret doing something than regret not doing it. Imagine her not marrying Steve, she might have spent her whole life unhappy, thinking he would have been a better choice for her but now she married him, she was able to see his real self.

Steve walked into the house, expecting to see his wife but he was surprised not to see her anywhere. That was a first as Talisa never goes anywhere without telling him first.

He looked around and finally saw Anna who seemed to be returning from the department store as she was carrying groceries.

"Where's your Madam?" He asked.

"She said she'll be back late but didn't tell me where she was going. She should be arriving soon" Anna replied then carried the groceries into the kitchen.

To say he was surprised was an understatement as he never imagined Talisa to do that. She would never go anywhere without telling him and now that she did, she didn't even tell their maid her destination.

He brought out his phone to call her but it  was forwarded.

'Where the hell is she!'

He went into their room and changed his attire into a pajamas then went to have dinner and yet she wasn't back by the time he was done. He waited for her after  his dinner but it wasn't until fifteen minutes after Ten did she return.

"I'm back" She announced as she walked in as though she was the lord of the house. Well, technically, she was.

"Where are you coming from? Dressed that way?" Steve asked as he watch her walk over to the stairs even ignoring him.

"Oh, you left without informing me too so what makes you think I needed to inform you of where I had been. And again, what's wrong with my dressing? You don't suppose I dress like a widow since I'm not married, do you?" She raised a brow at him and watched as he turned speechless.

"And again, I'll be moving my stuff's away from the main room, you can have the room to yourself" She walked away without sparing him another glance. Steve watched as she climbed the stairs in a daze. He wondered what had gone wrong with her because she was never like that. Though she was cold to other people but she had always been meek to him.

Talisa met Anna, who had just gone to prepare their bed, on the way.

"Thank God you are here, come help me move my things"

"Your things? From where to where?"Anna asked confused.

"From the Masters bedroom to a guest room" She replied then walked away, leaving Anna to digest what she had just said.

Talisa realized she couldn't even pretend to like him. Infact, merely hearing his voice was nauseating so it was better she moved out of the room firstly.  She took two of the travelling bags in the closet and began unloading her dresses inside it, followed by her bags and shoes.  Though, Anna was confused as to what was going on, she didn't ask anymore and just came to help her.

They both finished packing her stuffs and moved it to a room in the second floor, she figured it would be better not to stay on the same floor even.

"Thanks for your help Anna, but I can do the rest myself. You should take a rest early" She tried shooing the Anna off but the girl was stubborn.

"I'm not tired Madam, I should help you with things like this, afterall, I'm getting paid for it" Anna offered.

"Okay then if you say so" Talisa gave up and they both started setting up her new room.

Occasionally, Anna would ask where she'll put some things and Talisa would reply her. It wasn't long until they had both finished setting up the room.

"Wow, it's lovely. Madam, you really have eyes for arranging stuffs"

"There's literally nothing I can't do" Talisa boasted making Anna giggle.

"Okay, thanks for your help. You should go to sleep now"

Anna bowed and said 'Goodnight' to her Madam before exiting the room.

Talisa went into the bathroom to have her bath and changed into her pajamas before climbing her bed. She took her phone and went to the Calendar application.

"Today is 25th of June, which means Isabella would be having her interview in  the company tomorrow as a secretary. Hmm, interesting" She already decided she wouldn't stop the cheating couples from being together. Instead, she'll be their Cupid and ship them together in order to destroy them together easily.

She turned off her phone in order to sleep since she had been through a lot of emotional state all day. As her eyes was closing shut, she suddenly opened it as though she remembered something.

"Regan" She recalled seeing him in her last moment, which brought about her confusion. Why was he there? It actually seemed like he knew something would happen to her that day.

The question is, how did he know?
