Rebirth of the scorned wife

Talisa smiled happily the moment the taxi stopped in front of the familiar silver gate which apparently was her home. She had been away for almost a month because of her Mother's sickness and now that her Mother was getting better, she decided to come back home. 

She couldn't wait to see her husband again as she had missed him the past weeks. Though, he hadn't called her but she wasn't heartbroken because she knew how busy it was for him to run a whole conglomerate by himself. She was going to give him a surprise. 

"Madam!" The securities at the entrance were all surprised to see her as they hadn't been expecting her at all. 

Talisa grinned "Are you surprised to see me? I'm sure Steve would be too" 

 The securities exchanged glances at her expression but Talisa didn't take notice of it as she happily walked inside the gigantic premise of her matrimonial home. 

"Tsk, I wonder how she'll feel seeing her husband cheating on her, should we stop her somehow or alert the boss?" One of the securities suggested as they watch her go. 

Another replied him "It's better this way, at least she wouldn't be fooled forever. Even the rich had no peace of mind" 

"I wonder why he's cheating on his wife when she's even prettier and has better manners than his mistress" 

"Well, we shouldn't be surprised, right? Most rich people do it too" 

Talisa hummed her favourite song as she  kept on walking. She opened the door to the house and walked in as she looked around the large living room which was big enough to hold a party in, and sighed. He wasn't here. She knew her husband would be home by that time, which was why she decided on returning around the time she did.

 Not seeing him in the living room made her confused. He usually have his evening tea while watching the news channel around this time so where was he? 

Deciding he must either be in his study or their room, she climbed the flight of stairs to go to the third floor which was where both rooms were located. 

"Steve?" Her soft voice echoed in the hallway as she advanced towards their room. But then, she suddenly started hearing sounds which made her turn alert. Her eyes narrowed as she paid attention to the sounds which was coming from their room. 

Of course, she knew these sounds well but she only wished she was hearing things. Deciding to be cool and not panic, she moved closer to the room and slowly pushed the door without knocking and what she saw almost choked life out of her. 

A naked woman was on top of her husband, in her matrimonial bed! Of course, it was obvious what they were doing but she was more curious about the identity of the woman than anything else. But as she had her back facing her, Talisa couldn't figure out who it was. 

With her hand in her mouth, she prevented herself from making a sound as her vision turned misty. Why was her husband cheating on her? Was it because she left for a while and he was lonely? That wasn't an excuse though, but she'll accept it if he actually said it was the reason he was cheating on her. 

"Steve, when is your wife coming back?" The woman on top of Steve asked, which made Talisa's eyes turn sharp. She knew that voice, she could recognize it anywhere. It belonged to her husband's so called Cousin, who had been working in his company as his secretary. 

"Wife? Who is that? Aren't you my wife?" Steve said with a chuckle, making Talisa's eyes widen in shock. What does he mean that Isabella was his wife and not her? 

Isabella giggles as she played with his chest. "Anyone who heard you say that would assume you are legally married to me and not her. Remember, you can't divorce her until she hands over the complete ownership to you" 

"I know babe, that bitch is just so stubborn that she wants to keep working in the company. She should fucking just stay home as she had always done" 

Steve's response made Talisa froze. She remembered how he had always pestered her to sign the ownership paper, or sometimes sweet-talk her that since they were married they would stay together forever so there was no need for her to be cautious of him.

It turns out her guts never lied. Now that she thought of it, he had always been sabotaging her future since years ago. He never wanted her to work in the company after it had became successful.  She was the one who build everything from the scratch six years ago and now be wants to take it all from her? He should better keep dreaming.  

"Make it quick, our Marius's fifth birthday is coming up, let's give it to him as a birthday gift, okay" Isabella said coyly and Talisa felt her soul leaving her at that time. 

Marius was her husband and Isabella's child? She had been playing with her husband's child all these while? She had always treated the child the best since she didn't have her own and why was that? Because the bástard Steve kept telling her they were still young to have a child now and he wanted both of them to enjoy their married life for a while. Who would have thought he already had a kid with his Mistress. 

She felt her whole body turning hot and cold. She slowly closed the door and went back down the stairs and immediately went into the kitchen. She took the kettle and poured enough water into it before taking it to the heater. As she watched the water boil, she felt dizzy from all the emotional rollercoaster. Even if she was going to die that day, nobody would stop her from putting a mark on them. 

She turned off the heater and carried the hot water filled kettle then ascended the stairs once more. She got to the room's door and immediately pushed it open, alerting the two on the bed. Their eyes turned sharp at the intrusion but they froze when they saw who had entered. Talisa moved closer to them and before they could both understand what was going on, she had already emptied the hot water on them, resulting in excruciating screams from both cheating  couple.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" 

Talisa looked at them coldly "Revenge is best served cold but first, I prefer the hot one. Even if I die, I'll never sign the ownership to you both. You'll never take over what I worked hard for" 

Steve and Isabella squirmed out of the bed, both trying to cover their nakedness from her.

"Talisa, you went too far!" Steve said to her which made her giggle. 

"Whether I went too far or not, you wouldn't be the judge of that" 

Isabella finally got herself even though her body was still flaming "You bitch, you'll pay for it" She dashed towards Talisa and began dragging her hair to which Talisa did the same. 

"You are the bitch not me. You had the gut to sleep with someone's husband and get pregnant. Had the gut to bring your son to me and to my house. I really pity Marius for having bastards like you as his parents" She successfully pushed Isabella away then watched as Steve held her before she was able to fall. 

"You are courting death, right? Then surely, I'll gladly send you to hell"
