Xi Cheng's POV...

I was unable to control my anger,

I broke so many things around me, but it didn't make me feel better,

"that scrap...! how dare she...?

I was annoyed when her maid came running to inform me that she opened her eyes, I was in a peak of agony that I would kill her with my own hands, and with that anger, I went to her,

When I reached her mansion in the palace, Mother Empress was standing in front of her and questioning her,

I went slowly, while Aali ran when she heard the Empress shout to call a doctor,

Mother Empress was scolding Aali.

" you said she is fine, but what is this"

I wondered,

" Isn't she fine? she seems fine",

she was standing in front of her with her head down, staring at her weirdly, with no clumsiness, no humbleness.

but she seems different,

"Why did she look different?"

I went there and she closed her eyes with her hands like an innocent child,

I went closer to take a look, and she opened her eyes and glared at me without a blink, she was never that brave, two days back when she came to beg me, seduce me, she was not like this,

she was shivering, and clumsy making me sick to look at her,

but now she is different,

I ordered everyone to leave us alone,

her gaze captured me, she was not at all threatened, she is angry,

Her little Sapphire blue eyes were opened to their extent, no signs of fear, which I wanted to see in her eyes,

I stepped close as how I did that day just to see her shivering with fear, but she didn't.

"So you wanted to be touched by me" I pulled her near and clenched my hands over her, there was barely any gap between us, her breast touched my chest, and for that touch, I was aroused, I felt differently, her smell was luring me to bite her, the glare in her eyes I wanted her to look down, but she was staring at me with disgust,

I never felt that with another woman, how could a touch stimulate me, she was bewitching me with her stare,

"you do have a sexy body, I agree, ok fine, let's sleep together, and consummate our marriage "

I was forced to say that, I don't want to but I couldn't hold back, her neckline was making me crazy, suddenly I wanted to dwell into her, my lips were eager to touch her skin, I bent forward to kiss her neck, but she shouted,

"leave me...! you monster...!"

I regained my senses and loosened my grip, how could I give in to her?

she at once pushed me back and freed herself, I was raged by her action,

"if you didn't want to sleep with me, then why did you come to me? and why the hell did you try to end your life?"

I yelled in anger,

she stepped back, it lured me to go to her, she bit her lips, making me focus on them,

"It has nothing to do with you, I have my problems, my issues and that's my privacy, you better stay away from me"

her attitude stunned me.

Two days back she was ready to strip her dignity before me just to make me sleep with her, but now she was changed, a completely different person,

I stepped forward to reach her again, as my legs were not in my control, and she started moving backward and extended her arms, I unknowingly went near until I reached her hands, and she touched my chest, it was like a current passing through my body,

I stopped there, I felt if I go any further, I won't be able to control myself, and I don't want to show my weakness to her.

Actually, she wasn't doing anything, she didn't even smile at me,

why do I keep falling for her? why I was dying to touch her?

The demon in me said,

No, I shouldn't, I must keep my face, how could I feel that for this woman, a scrap, a cheater?

no, I must not...!!

I grasped myself,

" Don't you dare talk to me like this ever again" I warned her to keep her away, but the way she answered made me think of her again,

"ok....! I won't,

you please stay away from me,

don't come to my place,

let's just live how we used to, then we won't meet each other,"

She declared, parting the ways, but my heart was finding it difficult to agree.

I couldn't side my eyes from her,

I still can't believe,

Did I attract her?

how could I?

I met her so many times before, but I never felt that way, what is the difference? why?

I left her mansion, and on my way out I found Aali, kneeling.

"Your highness please forgive my lady," she pleaded to bow her head,

"What...? why are you asking for forgiveness?" I inquired,

"your highness, my lady needs some rest, she had been talking abruptly from the moment she opened her eyes, please forgive her offense"

she acted weird, I know that, but it wasn't something to ask for forgiveness,

" Why would you ask forgiveness for her?" I yelled at her, and she bent forward putting her head on the ground,

"your highness, The Mother Empress asked me to do so" she reasoned with a quiver.

I ignored her and went back to my study,

she was a spy of my dearest Mother Empress. I am sure she was here to keep an ear on what we were talking about.

I don't care about them anymore,

The matter I was confused about was,

Why I was getting influenced by that scrap?

Is it because I didn't have it for days or it is something else,

I called out for my attendee, he came running,

"Your highness, do you need anything?"

he asked kneeling before me,

I thought for a while, then decided to test something,

"call consort Yo, to serve me" I ordered, she was one of the descent beauties in my harem, a polite behavior, and a sexy body,

I am sure I will be fine if I quench my thirst,

He went out to call her,

and not more than a few minutes, she came running to me in joy,

I closed my eyes to feel her, but I couldn't get that touch, that feeling, I tried touching her skin, and she moaned with my touch but I was still thinking about that scrap, Luli,

I forced myself to kiss her, she was ready to do anything, she pulled me near and removed her dress,

I felt disgusted instead of feeling provoked,

I pushed her back, she was disappointed,

collecting all her clothes, she kneeled before me,

"Your highness, did I do anything wrong, please forgive me"

" No , it's nothing, you can go back" I ordered,

she stood up confusingly,

"but, your highness...."

I stared at her and she shut her mouth and rushed out,

It was weird,

Did I get bewitched by her?
