PARCEL

On my second day on the job I received a parcel. I debated opening it since I've been jumpy following the encounter I had with my ex.

Deciding to just thought it out I opened it and inside was my favourite chocolate and soda. I mentally cursed for being so damn paranoid.

pulling out my phone I texted my husband:

~Thank you for the parcel. Had I known you were sending me a parcel I would have gotten you one also😊~

~What parcel?~

~The one with chocolate and soda..~

Instead of replying via text he calls, " sweetheart when did you say the parcel arrived? and have you touched any of the contents?"

"im getting confused here Chris. Are you sure it's not something you did last night and forgot about? and to answer your question, no I haven't touched anything yet."

"Good I'm on my way to your work station, I'll see you in a minute."

I'm still frozen staring at the parcel by the time Chris reach me.

" Why did you have to come all the way?" I ask realizing now that everyone in close proximity is listening in. I look up at him and blink rapidly as if to warn him to be careful of what comes out of his mouth next. But of course he didn't get any hint.

"I'm here because my wife got a mysterious packaging disguised as a gift." he says looking at me like I'm crazy.

The whole room goes dead silent and I watch as the realization hits him. His eyes open wide and he smiles shyly.

" Oh come on Chris. You promised you will give me more time before we let out our secret." I groan out loud and slouch in my chair.

"Sorry sweetheart it just slipped out." He rubs the back of his neck.

I nod and stand up. Pointing at the parcel I tell him to bring it along with him. "Where are we going?" he asks while gathering everything including the lid.

"Well dear husband since everyone knows of our marriage we might as well as break in your office." I say with a straight face.

He stumbles a bit before he catches himself and looks at me like I'm a body double or something.

"Sweetheart are you okay?"

"Nope." I answer brightly, " but maybe your dick might make me feel good. So are you in or out? By the way is it sound proof?"

He looks like he wants the ground to open up and swallow him whole. Then suddenly like something processed enough in his head he gets this specific look like I'm not going to like whatever it is I've started. He stalks towards me and grabs me by the waist before kissing me like his life depends on it. When he pull back I'm breathless. He bends down a little and throws me over his shoulder.

"Put me down you maniac. We are in public and I was joking!" I yell at him.

"Well darling as soon as we solve this parcel thing I'm feasting and not on food."

And with that my day just gets interesting but not before hearing whispers from my co-workers.

Tomorrow will be a fun day for me.
