All along, I wanted to expose Gemma's facade to our family. I collaborated with Haley many times to make Gemma lose her temper and reveal her true self in front of our family. However, her disguise was too convincing. To this day, our family still treated her like a precious treasure.

On a rare Sunday, everyone in the family gathered around the dining table. I spoke up, "Is Gemma still interning in the finance department at the company? It doesn't seem appropriate to assign such an important position to an outsider, does it?"

Since reaching adulthood, Gemma had been placed in the company for an internship due to the family's affection for her. While she usually attended classes and the like, she occasionally helped out at the company. She had worked in several positions but eventually settled in the finance department.

However, there was no place for me in the company because they believed my behavior might be detrimental to the company's interests. Back then, I indulged Gemma quite
