I nodded in confusion, "Yeah? What's going on?"

At that moment, Lily's eyes glistened with excitement and a hint of betrayal, "But my mom works as a nanny in the Xander family!"

"What?" I exclaimed, my eyes widening in shock.

"She never allowed me to visit the Xander family or get close to anyone there. I never knew, I never knew it was like this!" Lily clenched her teeth, tears streaming down her face, her hands tightly gripping the paternity test report.

My head felt like it had exploded, my brows furrowed in deep thought. Remembering the past, the favoritism shown by the nanny towards Gemma, everything became clear.

The Xander family had many businesses, and our family members were always busy with work. Our parents were often on business trips, Tim was busy with school, and we were both looked after by the nanny. However, the nanny was the one who favored Gemma from the beginning.
