Meeting The Grandfather

“You sure I can go in this?” Sherry asked as she stepped inside the car. She was wearing a normal sweatshirt and trousers paired with a normal slipper. Since she had been walking the entire day, her leg was sore. Wearing closed shoes or sneakers was out of the question.

“I look like a housemaid,” Sherry sighed as she combed back her hair with her hand. Her baby hairs were sticking out like a sore thumb.

Levian tilted his head a bit and looked at her feet. Raising his eyebrows, he stared at her hair and then at her dresses. Indeed she was dressed too simple but it was not bad.

“It's fine,” he nodded as he helped to take her bag. “We are just going for dinner, not some Paris fashion week,” he smirked.

Sherry was speechless when she heard him but quickly regained her composure.

“That's true,” she giggled as she leaned back on the car for the second time that day. The first time was when she was coming from the registration office, while the second time was now, at dusk as she was going
