Merigold

I walked in and saw Tank sitting at the bar. I haven't seen him since that bad day and I was a little nervous. He looked up at me as I got close. " It's about time you got your ass back here, Princess," he said and gave me a big hug. " And here I thought I needed to bring a peace offering," I said. I reached in my bag and pulled a tin of home red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips and handed it to him. He lifted the lid, got one out, and took a bite. " Princess, you don't need an excuse to bring these around. They are awesome. Thank you. Viper gave me some of that chicken parm you made. You sure can cook." 

" Well, aren't you sweet? And you are welcome. Why don't you come over for dinner on Sunday? I'm treating Viper to some good old southern comfort food" I say. " " Princess I'll be there. Just tell me a time." Tank says. " Better be there by five if you want
