Brick
After talking to Ratchet I knew I needed to know more. Ratchet didn’t have the answers I needed so I’m going to have to talk to Merigold. And I was going to have to take Gretchen with me since we were in this together. She should hear the story first hand instead of getting the half assed version from me. I also know it will take some convincing to get Merigold to tell us the story. Merigold is a good woman and she would feel like she is betraying her friend by telling us. And it can’t be done at the club. I have a feeling this is a story best told in private. But that will have to wait for another day. Before he left Ratchet told me about his date tonight. I’m excited for the boy but I want to check this guy out for myself so I’m going to be there when Ratchet’s date shows up.

Ratchet I felt better after my talk with Brick. I didn’t get all the answers I wanted but between Gretchen and Brick, I have a pretty good idea about what is going on. Gretchen I was woken up by a clicking noise. I opened my eyes and saw Ratchet standing in front of me with his phone in his hand. He must have taken a picture of us. I took a second to survey my surroundings and noticed I was on the couch in Speed’s living room. Her feet were laying across my lap. I looked over and saw Brick on the other end of the couch sleeping with Speed’s head in his lap. The last thing I remember is Speed laying down on us while we watched a movie. BrickI just knocked on the door at Merigold’s house. Gretchen and I are here hoping to get some answers that may help us figure Speed out. I can tell she is hiding so much pain behind her eyes. Speed The day after Ratchet's date Brick and Gretchen disappeared. I didn’t see them for two days. I thought they finally got the hint and decided to leave me alone. Or they had figured out that I wasn’t worth the trouble because nothing could come from trying to have a relationship with me because it wasn’t going to happen. Whatever the reason they stopped coming by, I was glad. At least that was what my head said. My heart was a completely different story. Brick Since Speed has a race in four days Viper called a meeting for us to go over a few things at the track and here at the clubhouse. Viper wants to have a party after the race to congratulate Speed no matter how she places and it turns out Casper and a few of his members are going to be in town. Viper invited them to come to the race and even secured tickets for them which I’m surprised and happy to say are almost sold out. At least twenty were taken by our crew and the auto shop. Thor and Merigold are going to close the shop for the day so everyone can be at Speed’s race. Gretchen When I pull in the driveway I just barely have the car in park before Speed jumps out and races into the house. I release a slow breath before unbuckling and getting out. Speed I don’t know how long we sat there curled up with Gretchen after Brick had left. Well, I wouldn’t say curled up. My legs were draped over hers but my ass, which was burning, was on the couch and my head was resting on her shoulder.
