Lost Freedom

The second my foot landed on the ground, my wolf's sense of smell immediately scented a few corpses all over the place. Some were new while most of them seemed to be forgotten by time and their families. I can also sense their extreme screams, pains, delusions, and begs.

The place was completely dark, cold, and dusty. The walls were thick and soundproof, I can tell. Staying in the place longer might make me go mad when I could not sense any sign of happiness inside the tunnel. Everything is madness.

As soon as the old man and his friends lit up some fire, the image of the place has gotten into my eyes. It was similar to hell if I have to describe the images. Hundreds, if not thousands, of piled-up human bones are all over the place.

"How did you this place existed?" My wolf muttered to the old man as we continued passing through those bones.
