Why did I ever think that sneaking out will be easy? After crawling for over thirty minutes in that stupid and suffocating tunnel, I still had to walk for another twenty minutes before I was able to reach town. Eva had made it seem easy but I was to be blamed for not asking her questions that day. I did not want her to know I was sneaking out so I didn't even ask her about this tunnel again after that day, knowing fully well that she would become suspicious if I asked.

After fifteen minutes of walking and not seeing anyone in sight, I had begun to think that maybe I should have gone in the other direction but I refused to turn back.
