RAVEN

I knew it the moment I saw the way Kieran looked at Lucian the last time they crossed paths, that kind of hate doesn’t come from nothing. It was burning, violent, and deeply personal. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. The way Kieran clenched his jaw, how his fists twitched like he was holding himself back from lunging at Lucian right there. And now, with everything happening, I knew that he wasn’t going to stop, not until Lucian was on the ground or worse. And that meant I had to stay ten steps ahead. I had to be smart. I couldn’t let my guard down, not even for a second.

"You think he's planning something already?" Lucian asked me quietly as we sat in the dimly lit room, just the two of us. His voice was low, careful, but I could hear the tension underneath it, the fear he was trying so hard to suppress.

I didn’t answer right away. I just stared at the wall, trying to piece everything together. “He doesn’t plan, Lucian. Not in the way you think. Kieran doesn’t sit back and dra

KIERANAt this point, I was already tired—no, exhausted, of everything that was happening within my pack, the bickering, the silent power struggles, the undercurrents of mistrust that no amount of meetings or speeches seemed to fix. I sat slouched in my chair, fingers rubbing against my temple as if I could massage away the weight of leadership.“I swear, Dorian, if I hear one more complaint about territory lines or hunting rights, I’m going to start throwing people out of the council room,” I muttered, my voice low but dripping with the kind of frustration that comes from weeks of sleepless nights. Dorian just chuckled faintly, leaning against the desk like he had all the patience in the world.“You can’t throw them out, Kieran,” he said with that maddening calmness of his. “You’re the Alpha. You have to listen to them, even when they’re driving you insane. That’s what makes you the Alpha they respect.” I looked up at him sharply. “Respect? You think they respect me? Half of them are

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   106. BETTER LEFT UNSAID

RAVENI looked over at Rowena, her face half-hidden in the dim light, and I asked quietly, “Have you heard anything new from Lucian?” I tried to keep my voice neutral, but there was a bite in it I couldn’t quite mask. She shook her head slowly, the corner of her mouth twitching in that way it always did when she was holding back. “No,” she said, her tone clipped, “and even if I had, Raven, there are some things better left unsaid.” I frowned, leaning a little closer. “Better left unsaid?” I repeated.“Since when do we start keeping things from each other?” She met my eyes with that cold, knowing look that could slice through anyone. “Since we’re talking about Lucian,” she said firmly.“He’s not like Kieran or the others. Lucian is… unpredictable. Temperamental. It only takes one wrong word, one wrong move, to make him explode. And when he does, there’s no undoing it. You can’t treat him like the rest. You’d need someone who knows how to twist him, how to pull the right strings without

KIERANNow I knew that I was in the danger zone when it came to Raven because I didn’t know where she was going to hit me from and I didn’t want to be caught unawares.“You’ve been unusually quiet,” Dorian said as he stepped into my office, shutting the door behind him. I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my jaw slowly.“Quiet doesn’t mean I’m not thinking, Dorian. In fact, it’s the opposite. I’m thinking too much.” He frowned and crossed his arms. “It’s Raven, isn’t it?” I looked up at him sharply.“Of course it’s Raven. You think I can ignore someone like her? I don’t even know where she is right now, and that’s the problem. She could be anywhere, planning anything, and I’d never see it coming.” Dorian walked closer, lowering his voice. “So what’s your plan?” I let out a humorless chuckle.“Plan? I can’t make a plan when I don’t even know what game she’s playing. One wrong move and I’ll be dancing to her tune instead of the other way around.”He pulled a chair and sat opposite me, hi

  • Reclaiming His Fated Luna   104. THE STORM CHURNED

KIERANI sat on the edge of the ridge, watching the mist roll down the hills like ghosts retreating into the earth. My fingers dug into the soil, grounding me. Everything felt so still, but inside me, the storm churned. I knew, I just knew—that soon, time would tell where we’d all stand. Whether beside each other or on opposite ends of the line drawn by blood, betrayal, and destiny. And the closer that time came, the more I could feel it in my bones.Dorian approached from behind, his boots silent on the damp earth, but I didn’t turn. I didn’t need to.“You’re unusually quiet,” he said, voice low, like he didn’t want to interrupt whatever was boiling in my chest.I sighed and finally looked over my shoulder. “Quiet doesn’t mean calm, Dorian.”He nodded, stepping beside me and crossing his arms. “I figured. You've had that look since the council meeting.”“That meeting,” I exhaled, shaking my head. “They speak peace, but I hear cowardice. They talk about unity, but I feel them pulling

KIERANI stood by the window of my office, the curtains barely shifting with the breeze that fought to sneak past the heavy wooden frames. My hands were clasped tightly behind my back, the tension in my shoulders giving away more than I wanted it to. I could feel the weight of everything pressing down on me—like I was standing at a crossroad where each path led to something uncertain, something heavy. The silence in the room screamed louder than any war cry I’d ever heard. I’d been Alpha for a long time.I’d survived betrayal, war, blood, and the kind of grief that makes a man question everything, including his own soul. But nothing had prepared me for this. Nothing had prepared me for the kind of decisions I’d have to make now. And the worst part? I wasn’t even sure what the right move was anymore. I closed my eyes, let the air press into my chest, and whispered to myself,“You don’t get to break, Kieran. Not now. Not ever.”A sharp knock came at the door, and I didn’t turn. I knew w
