登入Five years ago, Luna Avira was kidnapped by a ruthless pack made up entirely of Alphas. Before Alpha Neil could rescue her, their mate bond suddenly disappeared, convincing him she had been killed. Consumed by grief and rage, he slaughtered six Alphas before the Moon Goddess intervened and stopped the massacre. Their mating had been arranged, not born from love, but Avira had left behind their infant daughter. Believing his mate was dead, Neil focused on raising his child and preparing for his coronation as the True Alpha. With his coronation approaching, he is expected to take a new mate. Everything changes when his Beta reports seeing a woman in New York who looks exactly like Avira. Neil finds her alive, but she has no memory of him, their daughter, her father, or the pack she once belonged to. She remembers only her name, that she is a werewolf, and the foster family who cared for her after her escape. Certain she is hiding something, Neil takes Avira back to uncover the truth behind her disappearance. As dangerous secrets resurface, his future mate, Seraphina, is determined to keep her place as Luna, while Tiago, the human who loves Avira, arrives to take her back. With enemies closing in, Avira must recover the truth before the past destroys her future.

Neil looked up from the food he was eating. He had not been paying full attention to his beta who had been speaking to him about his upcoming coronation. Since other pack alpha had bestowed him with the true alpha title, they had been so much to do in preparation for the coronation. "What?" He thundered, every cell if his body revving in to high alert. The beta and the maids standing before him trembled. The beta bowed his head and spoke loudly his eyes on the floor. "Forgive me, Alpha. I said that in preparation of your coronation, and mating ceremony we had to be sure your other mate was truly dead since we have never recovered her body." "It was never recovered because she was killed and devoured by the rebel pack of alpha's, Scott," Neil said mildly, his irritation clearly visible. "She is definitely dead and gone ." As always, he felt a pang of sadness for his daughter. Though he had lost his mate, it was the fact that his daughter Rosie had lost her mother that bothered Neil the most. Their mating had been strictly an arranged partnership between his father and her father. He had little or no emotion for her. Avira Diago had been beautiful, quiet and lovely. A well suited Luna whose only desires was to keep his bed warm and perform her duties as a Luna. That was clearly how she had been raised, to submit completely to his authority as the alpha and since her wolf was weak it was only right she remained in the shadow like a perfect Luna who would beat his pups and warm his bed. "Someone has seen her, my Alpha." Neil frowned deeply, his eyes raging and his claws scraping on the desk. In order to formally be a true alpha, he needed his Luna and he was already planing on getting mated to Sharon Damon and he definitely had no place for anyone else not even his supposedly late Luna. "Are you sure?" Scott swallowed. Since he had gotten this information, he had been so scared to relay it to Neil knowing fully well how he hated the mention of her name but he knew if she was still alive there was no way he would be able to mate with another woman. "Yes! A wolf from the flame pack saw a club stripper in New York City called Amy stone that has a striking resemblance to your Luna," "A club stripper ?" Neil asked in amusement bursting in to laughter. So his Luna had survived the alpha pack, and was now a stripper? That was impossible. They were still bonded to each other, he would have felt her. No one could ever survive the rebel alpha pack especially one who had been so weak and the mate of the alpha who was against them. Avira had wandered alone in to the city and before anyone could notice she had been taken by the pack, he had tried to save her but had given up when he noticed he couldn't feel their bond anymore meaning she had been killed. A war, where he slaughtered six of the alpha's and was hunting the other four and if not that the moon Goddess had stopped the massacre, he would have killed them all. "Scott, I think you need some rest all this preparations has gone in to your head. Because there is no way my mate would still be alive but I could not feel her." "He took a picture, Alpha." Neil's smile vanished. "let me see!" Scott immediately held out a bulky file and Neil didn't hesitate as he tore it open. He stared at the picture for so long. It could Not be her, and yet the resemblance was something else... "Postpone the ceremony and clear my schedule for the next two days," he finally said. "Call the airport to ready my plane, we are going to New York." "Are you ready?" Thiago asked her as she stood behind the stage. "Yes!" She was ready and she knew it. "Go get our money Amy!" He grinned and she threw him a smile. The club was filled to the brim tonight. Men and women clustered together in pure entanglement. It was booming when Amy walked in to the stage and place her self firmly to a dance pole. She watched the eager excitement on the men's face and the jealousy looming heavily on the women's faces as they stared at her. For a moment it gave her a slight jog of happiness that her heart ached. It was as if she didn't deserve to be happy, like a part of her was missing and she didn't know what that part was. Amy looked out at the numerous new faces in the club. They were waiting for her. They were here for her. She closed her eyes as she began to dance, losing herself completely. On the stage, she was Amy stone, a woman who was completely in control of herself and her life. Unlike Avira. Avira Diago. Every movement flowed with the rhythm, her hips swaying in slow and deliberate arc while her shoulder rolled gracefully. She traced the air with her finger, turning with practiced ease as the spotlight caught the shimmer of her dress. A teasing smile curved her lips, her gaze sweeping the crowd slowly. Her black rhinestone bodysuit hugged every part of her body and her face felt hot under the heavy make up she applied. She thought about her foster parents and how horrified they would be not only at her dress but at the fact that she was stripping in a club. She smiled as she danced, thinking of their reaction. A man close to the stage smiled back at her making a gesture, she didn't mind. It was a part Amy had to play. Except that Amy wouldn't go home with any man. It always didn't feel right somehow. She was free after running away from her foster parents, from their expectations and duties that they raised her with and yet she couldn't bring herself to engage in any sexual activity with a man. Like she had to save herself for someone. Her sing finally came to an end and the whole club erupted in applause. Amy left the stage immediately and grabbed a glass of water that Thiago offered her. "That was terrific!" He muttered loudly for her to hear. She smiled at him and headed back to the changing room flopping in to a chair tiredly. A few moments later, she heard movement in the hall. She could sense the moment when someone stopped in the doorway. The room was small, but she could feel that she was no longer alone. She didn't open her eyes to see who it was, because other strippers were always coming in and going out. But something at the back of her mind told her it wasn't another stripper or probably Thiago that had come to join her, because the person hadn't moved since she had first sensed a presence. Amy's eyes snapped open. A man stood at the entrance, his presence dark and overwhelming. Raw panics seized her throat right so that she couldn't speak or cry out. At first, all she saw was his size, he was tall, very broad and filled the door. A shiver slid down her backbone as she realized with a jolt that he was a werewolf. Dark hair, dark eyes that pierced her heart and a powerful aura that showed clearly that he was one of her kind. She didn't know why, but fear flooded her in waves, liquefying her bones until she couldn't move. "Why?" he said tightly. "Tell me why ?" Amy blinked and scrambled to her feet. For a reason unknown to her his voice sounded familiar.Thiago knew exactly who the man with Avira was, Neil Callister the most dangerous and powerful Alpha in Los Angeles. He knew that because he had been one of the hunters, sent to bring him down when he went on a rampage about his dead wife. No surprise there, his family was one of the most powerful wolf hunter’s. They were humans but were provided with every means to hunt and bring down wolves who tried to disrupt the order of the supernatural council. “Are you sure, you want to go with him?” He asked Avira yet again. She didn’t look scared like she thought she would, instead she had this look of someone who had just received some extremely bad news. Shaken thoroughly and pale. He knew she was a wolf but he definitely had no clue why Neil would have anything to do with her and why she would want to go with him.“Yes T,” She replied avoiding eye contact. He wished he could tell her what he was, because he had seen in her eyes the fear that he was no match for Neil when they had confr
“You mean he cancelled all his appointments and post phoned his coronation? Why?” Seraphina asked her dad in anger. She had been waiting all her life to mate and marry Neil. They were childhood friends and grew up together since their father’s were both Powerful Alpha’s who ruled Moonridge city. She had been waiting for her chance, when he had been mated with Asiago’s fragile daughter. A girl whose wolf was the weakest in the whole region. Seraphina had gone in to rage and rejected her own fated mate, sending the poor boy in to misery.“Dad! You should have asked him why he postponed everything.” She snapped.“I have not been able to reach him or his beta. The only information I got out of his mother was that he wasn’t in town.” Her father’s responded focusing more on the documents in front of him than her pacing. She had risked everything to get him back after that Avira or whatever she called her self took him from her and she wasn’t about to lose him again. What if he had suddenly
Neil shook his head. She was lying, playing him and denying what she knew to be true simply because she had been caught. She had survived the Alpha’s but she couldn’t have done so without help. “I have never heard of selective amnesia, Avira.” He growled his fangs showing. “How can you remember your parent’s, what you are and yet you do not remember me?” “I didn’t say I have amnesia!” She cried. “You did. Let’s even turn this around, then. If you are being truthful about me being your wife or Luna, why can’t I feel any bond between the two of us and why didn’t you come for me sooner?” “I have been busy in hunting the people that I thought had killed you.” He ground out. Neil and his wolf knew immediately they saw her that she was their mate, but without the bond she felt like a stranger, a familiar stranger. She shook her head. “I am not your wife. You are mistaken.” “Am I?” Neil tucked his hand under her elbow and pulled her out of the chair. He tried to ignore the current of
"I am your what?" She asked shocked beyond reasonable doubt. He stared at her in surprise, his face twisted at the fact that she acted shocked. Was she an actress too?? Because clearly she was acting really weird. She made a fool out of him and everyone else and he was going to find out why.He was certain she didn't act alone in this deceit, she definitely was hiding something or someone. Maybe a lover! The thought that she had a lover pierce him painfully. She was a cold, cruel woman abandoning her daughter leaving him to grow up without a mother. She care more for her self than she cared for Soliel. Neil hated her for it.And he hated this stirring in his blood as he looked at her. It was anger, yes, but it was something more. She was wearing a rhinestone shimmer short dress with a slit up to her hip. The v-cut at the neck of the dress showed a lot of skin and her nipples jutted through the meager fabric of her top, drawing shamelessly for his attention. He remembered though he d
