After meeting her pack members, she went back to her normal routine. She worked online, in the pack, and was trying to get her parents to tell her more about what was going on.

Her parents did not want to, and she knew she could not force it out of them even though she could use the truth spell, but there was no way it would work on her mother.

Malisha was worried, and it seemed like her brother knew something she did not. She had already concluded that her parents wanted her to rest, but she is twenty three years. She can handle herself.

Sighing, she writes an article for her blog. After her blog post, she decided to let her wolf go for a run. She transforms, and goes around until she feels a sharp alert that something happened outside their borders.

She turns back to her human form, and hides in scent in case the killer is present. She uses her invisible spell too in order to make sure she will not be ambushed.

She goes on, and sees a man in pain. From the smell of things, he is a lone wolf, but the question is why?

She looks at him, and checks if he is still breathing. She accesses his wounds, brings him to their borders in order to avoid getting jumped. She does a basic healing spell to ensure he does not die. She ensures he has no tracker on any part of his body. She then checks to see if he is hexed. When Malisha sees everything is in the clear, she changes back to her wolf form in order to carry him quickly.

Belle is in control immediately, and in record time she takes the male to the pack’s hospital . She can tell he is werewolf. He is supposed to heal on his own, but the wounds are obviously poisoned so he is not able to heal himself.

She reaches the pack’s hospital in record time, and they immediately notice the man in her arms, and put him on a stretcher. She changes to her human form, and since she is a witch, she can change without being nude.

She sits down waiting to see what happens to the man she brought in. By now, her parents have probably heard about this. Her mother and brother, will probably be on their way. As if they knew she was expecting them, her mother and brother are already in the hospital.

“Do you know who he is?” Her brother asks.

“You know he is lone wolf bro,” she replies.

She was right. No one entered the pack without it showing. They always know, and Malisha was sure her mother knew when she came even though she used a spell.

“Did you at least make sure there are no trackers, or anything that can put our pack in danger?” Her mother asks her already in witch mood seeing as her eyes are shining, and she is trying to gauge if the guy in the operation room has any bad aura.

“I used the discovery spell mum. I know you will still check,” Malisha tells her mum.

When her mother is finally relaxed, Malisha says, “You did not notice anything.”

Her mother nods in affirmation.

“So how bad of a state is in?” Her mother asks.

“Pretty bad. I used a healing spell so that his blood loss could reduce, but his injuries were so severe that he could not heal himself,” Malisha reports to her mum.

Her mother puts on scrubs, and says, “I am going in the operating room. You can go home and relax Malisha.”

Malisha shakes her head, and replies, “I will not be going home right now mum. I suspect foul play, and I will like to know what happened to him that he was in that bad of a state. I need to know since no one is telling me the full truth on what is going on behind closed doors.”

Her brother and mother look at each other, and her brother shrugs as if saying, “She is your obstinate daughter after all.”

Her mother looks at her, and sighs. “This might be a long surgery though, and you probably need to rest.”

Malisha shakes her head, and says, “I am okay right where I am. I would have joined them in the operating room because the injuries don’t look normal, but I know he is in the best hands.” Malisha refers to her mum.

Her mother rolls her eyes, and goes to change into scrubs.

Her brother looks at her, and asks, “What is the deal with you and the Lone wolf.”

“I saved his life, and he is unconscious,” Malisha tells her brother.

“If you are wondering if he is my second chance mate, he is not. I doubt I will be having that.” The second she says that, her brother’s face comes down.

“Mal, I’m sorry,” he says. Malisha shudders at the pity filled tone.

She smiles at her brother, and says, “You are not the reason for my unluck so, do not apologize for something you did not cause.”

Her brother is about to say something, but he stops himself knowing that his sister does not want to speak on the topic anymore.

“Now that we are here, and alone, don’t you think it is time you tell me what is actually going on?” Malisha says wiggling her eyebrows at her brother.

He glances around to ensure no one is around, and he says, “Mum and dad said I should not tell you about this yet Mal.”

“Well, in case you have not noticed, mum and dad are not here,” Malisha whispers dramatically which makes her brother roll his eyes at her.

“I do not think you want to know what is going on sis,” he says shaking his head.

“Trust me bro, you have no idea how much I want to know. The only thing keeping me cool right now is the fact that we are in the hospital,” Malisha tells her brother with a serious expression on her face.

“There are things going on behind the scenes,” her brother says.

“We have gotten to that aspect. I am here for the actual thing, not an overview.” Her brother rolls his eyes at her, and says, “You do know you have to exercise patience, right?”

Malisha scoffs. “That is exactly what I have been doing. That is exactly why I have not cast a spell on those who know what is going on.”

Leo stares at his sister for some time, and knows that if he does not tell her the truth, she will find ways to get it out.

“We are referring to them as savages,” he says.

“Them? Who are the them?” Malisha asks.

“Those who are tormenting us. It is as if they are making use of forbidden magic. Initially, we assumed they were coming just for us, but they seem to be coming for not just werewolves, but witches, vampires, and the others.”

Her eyes widen when her brother says that.

“But if they are making use of forbidden magic, there is no way they do not have at least one witch on their side,” Malisha says.

“Of course we know that, but we should not also cancel the thought on the fact that it might not just be witches. Since they are a secret group preying on various creatures, they seem to be different,” Leo tells her.

“Oh My. I knew the reason was going to be huge, but this is not what I expected,” Malisha says deep in thought.

Leo shrugs. “It has been a struggle for all of us especially with us trying to find out who and who are involved in this. Which is exactly why we will have to go to the Lycans even though I do not want to,” Neo tells his sister annoyed at the fact he has to see his former friend.

“And I do understand. What I do not is the fact that our pack were not attending the meetings initially,” she says.

“In the first year, we did not, but after a while, either our beta and delta go,” her brother says.

Malisha smiles thinking of how the beta and delta who she sees as her uncle stepped up.

“So, you people think this lone wolf I saw was probably vandalized?” Malisha asks.

“Probably. We can not be too sure, and I know you were quite thorough in order to ensure the safety of our lack, but these days, we can’t be too sure sis. Which was why mum checked even though you had already.”

“I understand even though my pride did not see it that way. I do hope we whatever is going on will be revealed soon. I just don’t get how I did not find out about this,” Malisha says.

“Mum and dad spoke to grandma and grandpa. They wanted you to heal instead of diving into this immediately,” Leo replies.

Malisha looks at her brother, and she can tell he means the rejection. She hates that Grayson made her miss out on this discovery, but she says nothing becusss at the end of the day, she can understand where her parents are coming from.

“Who and who will be going to the Lycans?” She asks.

“Mum and dad, and Delta Zel and his wife, Anne. We will be on standby for the pack,” he says.

“Do you think anything can happen?” She asks filled with dread.

“No, we do not, but just in case, some packs are being precautionary. It is for the best. This meeting is not just amongst the werewolves Mal. The others will be in attendance. Everything is just hush hush,” he says to his sister.

She nods, and they both fall back into silence deep in thought, wondering what this means for both of their kinds(Werewolves and Witches).

Leo goes to get something for them to eat while they wait. After a bit, Beatrix, Malisha’s mum, comes out.

“What happened to the guy?” Malisha asks her mum.

“A lot,” she replies.

“He is very fortunate that you saw him if not, he would have been gone. He is still in deep sleep so, no one can see him yet,” her mum says.

“Do we at least know who he is?” Malisha asks.

“From the spell I did, his name is John. Let us hope he wakes up fine so that he can tell us what happened,” her mum says.

“Did he not suffer injuries in his head?” Malisha asks.

“Just a concussion here and there. Fortunately, they were focused on the other parts of his body. I believe he will heal just fine,” she says with a smile on her face.

“Thank Allura for that,” Malisha says referring to the witch goddess.

“I will be going back in soon love. I want to check him, and be sure he is fully out of the danger zone because once he recovers, he will be brought in for questioning.” Her says giving her a look.

“I know mum,” Malisha says.

When her mother goes back inside, her brother comes back with the drinks , and asks, “What did mum just say?”

“That she is pretty much done, and that his name is John.”

Her brother nods, and she can tell he is here on behalf of their dad to ensure that John is not a threat.

After thirty minutes, her mother comes back to see them, and she says, “Malisha, you can come and see him right now.”

“What about me?” Her brother asks.

“You can come in too, but you are not allowed to question if he is threat or not yet.” Her brother grunts, but nods at his mother.

They both go in, and Malisha winces at the bandages on him.

He looks at them with question, and she says, “Hey.”

“Hi,” John replies.

“Do you remember why you are in this state?” Malisha asks immediately.

“Malisha! You are not meant to ask him anything that will trigger him,” her mother scolds her.

Leo grins and says, “And I was the one you warned.”

“I remember why I am in this state. Although it is quite vague. What I do know, is that they called themselves SAVAGES,” John says.

Immediately he says that, Beatrix and her children freeze.

  • Reclaiming His Mate    When The Normalcy Shifts

Everyone is in the huge room of the lodge. Mirabel had used a spell to fix what was broken by the shadow. For the first time since their arrival, things feel normal. At least, almost normal. Malisha is on the floor, her back resting on the couch, while Kimora deals with the cards like she works in a casino. "This time, nobody cheats," Kimora firmly says. Kimora looks at Mirabel pointedly which makes her scoff lightly. "I in fact do not cheat." "Yeah, she does not," Iris says. "She strategically manipulates the outcomes." "Exactly what I am saying," Mirabel grumbles. rMalisha lets out a small laugh, and she can't help feeing strange when laughing. After everything that had happened, it is exactly what she needs. "Okay," Kimora says, pointing at Malisha. "you are going down first."Malisha rolls her eyes. "Bold of you assume." "Oh, I do not assume," Kimora replies with a smirk on her face. "Confidence looks good on you, but are you aware that pride comes before a fall?" Malisha

  • Reclaiming His Mate    Protect Her At All Costs

Beatrix does not hesitate. The moment she knew that something touched Malisha, there is no way she could sit back and watch a ritual happen to her daughter. No. It cannot happen. She knows one thing clearly though that whatever happened is putting their plans in motion. She could know go using her channels because she did not fully understand what is going on, or what they are dealing with. That leaves her with one option. Grayson. Standing in her private room, she decides to reach out to him. Exhaling slowly, she says, "This better be worth it." Then she activates it. Grayson feels it almost immediately. He is in the lodge standing just outside, speaking quietly with one of his guard when he feels it. When the pull hits him sharp, intentional and different from everything else he has been feeling. He freezes mid sentence while speaking to his guards which makes them immediately at alert. He raises a hand slightly to calm them down. "Give me a moment." They nod and s

  • Reclaiming His Mate    Mother Knows Best

Beatrix had known that something was wrong. She knew that her daughter would not tell her because it would mean the vacation she desperately wanted and needed would be cut short. She also could not have that because more than anything, she wanted Malisha to have fun and also be at peace. She also knew that to do that, she had to put something to monitor Malisha. So, she did that. That is exactly why she had told Sage to reach out. She could sense that things were going bad, and although Malisha and her friends were strong, Beatrix needed more to ensure their full safety. Now seated deep in thought, Beatrix wonders what is happening. She has never been a fan of silence unless what she was doing requires hundred percent concentration. This kind of silence makes one sit too still. It feels too quiet and too wrong. Looking at the pack grounds, everything looks normal with warriors training. Patrols moving in and out like it always has, but her chest still could not settle. Somet

  • Reclaiming His Mate    What Lies Within

No one speaks for a long time. The silence is so heavy and solid. It is not even peaceful or calm. It is filled with worry. Fear. Anger. And the unknown. The air is heavy. Grayson still has Malisha in his arms, but they are all deep in their thoughts. It seems as though the air is trying to get over what just happened, but the people who witnessed it live in action can't find it within them to do that. Malisha is now seated on the couch remembering the way the touch of the shadow felt, and she can't help , but shudder. She cannot help looking at her hand. The same hand that the figure touched. The same hand that released the kind of power that she never knew she had within her. Her chest tightens at that. She remembers the way the power feels as if she had no control over it... YET. Iris comes beside her, looks at her hand, and asks, "What was that?" No one answers once again. Not because they do not want to, but because they cannot. They do not have any explanation for

  • Reclaiming His Mate    It Is Here For Her

Night falls quickly. Everywhere is quiet, but tense. No one says it out loud, but everyone felt it. Worse, they heard it. Grayson refuses to be out of Malisha's sight. He had instructed his guards to guard her with their lives because he knows... Something is coming. They all know, and while they are all powerful, how much power does once need when they are against the unknown?Malisha cannot help pacing. Her wolf does not settle. Instead, she is alert and ready to pounce. Every sound feels louder. Every shadow feels wrong. "I am going to the room," Malisha says already on the move. Grayson and Sage attempt to follow, but she says, "No one should follow me." With a sigh, she adds, "Please." Grayson looks at her friends as if urging them to follow regardless. Mirabel nods discretely saying a spell to ensure that Malisha does not feel watched or followed. They are all quiet and worried for Malisha. The last thing they had all expected was that. Hearing it in person and not

  • Reclaiming His Mate    He Shouldn't Be Here

Malisha does not expect to feel it again so soon. But the exact moment she steps out of the room the next morning, her wolf stirs. It is sharp and alert. As if something has just entered their space. She freezes at the top of the stairs. "What is it?" Iris asks behind her. Malisha does not answer immediately. Her eyes scan the space below. The lodge is quiet. Too quiet. This time though, the feeling is different. It is not dark. It does not suffocate like the thing in the forest. This is familiar. "No way," she whispers. Footsteps echo from the entrance. Then the door opens with Sage walking in. Malisha blinks. "Sage?" His eyes find her immediately. As if he knew exactly where she is. "Malisha." Relief flashes across his face, but it does not last long because the moment he steps fully inside, his expression changes completely. His shoulders stiffen and his eyes darekn slightly as he turns to look for what he does not understand, or does not like it. "You feel it too," Mal
