“It's a wrap for today!" The director shouts

Giselle sighed in relief as she smiled at her co-actress. They embraced and told each other they did well.

She immediately approached her manager, and her best friend, Ellie. "That scene was intense! I got goosebumps while I watched you guys!" she exclaimed enthusiastically

Giselle simply chuckles, "Thanks, Ellie," she uttered, "I want to get changed first before going home."

Before she could even turn her back, the director approached her, "There's my star! I really like the scene you've done there, missy. I almost tear up. I am so glad everything went well today, I expect the same tomorrow, alright?"

Giselle turned around to look at him and smile, "Yes, sir, I won't disappoint you."

"I know you won't." he wink his eyes to her before walking away

"Ellie, can you please get my things in the car while I change my clothes. Make sure none of my things get left behind,"

"On it!" Ellie then went out and did exactly what Giselle asked her to do.

After she finished changing her clothes, she directly went to her car and drove home with Ellie.

Ellie Gill is from the countryside and left her home because she couldn't handle the toxicity around her. Luckily, she landed a job in the entertainment industry and became her manager for four years now.

As soon as they arrived at the apartment where Ellie lives, they immediately bid farewell to each other. Before Ellie could close the car door, she stated, "I am very thankful to you, Giselle," Ellie stated, "I hope everything in your life goes well. You deserve the world."

Giselle smiled, "Thank you, Ellie, I am grateful you've become my best friend too,"

As soon as Ellie waved her hand goodbye, Giselle drove away and went back to the house where she and her husband, Damien, live.

She's excited to come home to her husband after an exhausting day. Telling her about how her day went and sharing a warm meal together before bedtime. The thought of it makes her anticipate coming home even more.

Despite her mother-in-law's disapproval and mistreatment towards her, she let everything go because she knew she was happy with her husband. She felt assured towards him and for her, nobody else mattered but her marriage.

After she parked her car in the garage, she opened the door of their house. It's quiet, feels like no one's home.

"He must be sleeping…” she thought to herself

She carefully closes the door and walks upstairs. She noticed that their bedroom's light is on.

"Maybe I'm wrong... He's awake..." she thought to herself again

She walks towards it to see what he's doing inside. Giselle found herself standing in front of a slightly opened door. Open enough to see what's going on in the bed.

To her surprise, she found her husband...

...Having sex with another woman.

Her body becomes numb as she watches her husband pounding another woman in the same bed they shared. It feels like her soul left her body, she wanted to shout but she couldn't, she watched the betrayal happening behind the door helplessly. She heard their moans and grunts echoing inside the room

"Oh, fuck... Yes... Yes..." she heard the woman moan, her legs are in his husband's shoulder.

"Fuck, Isla, you're driving me crazy," Damian grunts and moan as he continues moving his hips towards her.

Giselle slowly backed off and covered her mouth with her right hand. Processing what she just saw.

She backed off so far from the door that the vase lost it's balance and shattered all over the floor. The sound alerted both her husband and his mistress.

Damian grabbed a towel to cover the lower part of his body while Isla, his mistress, covered herself with the blanket. Both of them went outside the door and saw Giselle standing there, with a shocked expression in her face.

"G-Giselle..." Damian uttered her name and slowly approached her, "L-Let me explain..."

Giselle didn't speak a word. She stood there, watching both of them half naked in front of her.

"I-It's not what it looks like, Giselle..." Damian tried to explain.

Giselle scoffs and immediately went downstairs

"Giselle! Giselle, wait!" Damian followed after her, leaving Isla behind him

"Damian! Where are you going?!" Isla called at him

Damian didn't answer her and grab Giselle's wrist as soon as he caught up to her.

Giselle looked at him with teary eyes. "Let me go," she stated, trying to calm down

"Giselle, please hear me out—"

"I said let me go!" Giselle burst out, she couldn't hold back her tears anymore.

"You heard her, Damian. Just let her go." Isla uttered while standing in the stairs, few meters away from them

Giselle glared at her, she doesn't have the energy anymore.

Damian slowly let her wrist go. Giselle immediately opened the door and slammed it close as she walks away

"Urgh, what's her problem?" Isla uttered. She slowly walked towards Damian and clung to him, "Shall we continue?"

Damian looks at her. He then immediately captured her lips and passionately kisses her. He let go of the towel that's covering her lower part and he tugs the blanket out of Isla's body.

Giselle went back to her car and drove away from that place. She drove while crying her eyes out throughout the whole night. She wanted to cry but she couldn't.

She felt helpless

She felt betrayed by someone she trusted

She felt vulnerable

She decides to go back to her mother's place. The place where she knows she'll be comforted and be vulnerable without the public's eyes.

It's already past midnight when she arrived there, she aggressively knocked on her door until her mother opened it.

"Giselle, goodness, what happened to you!?" Liberty, Giselle's mother, immediately asked the second she saw her daughter.

"D-Damian.... cheated...."

Two words makes her mom feel sympathy towards her. "Oh, honey..."

"H-He cheated, mom.... he fucking cheated on me....”
