Simeon’s POV

Her small hand reached for my shirt and pried it open until I could feel her cold hands on my bare chest. She caressed my chest gently with her delicate hand but as our kiss deepened and her hand became rough. We separated from each other to catch our breath. Then I watched as she sat on my lap whilst facing me. She took off my shirt completely and then proceeded to stroke my nipples: her actions were invigorating and it prompted me to stand up whilst she remained wrapped around my body. I placed her on the rug and with one swift motion I ripped her cloth off her body.

Her soft breath against my skin was an assault to my senses. There was no time to waste time; I freed my manhood from my pants and plunged myself into the warmth between her legs. Her moans encouraged me to go in deeper and harder until I felt the throes of my orgasm shake me from my core.

I stood up, not wanting to spend a second longer with her and remembering that I had left Olivia with no one to help

“You're right,” I said with a smile and I saw Reuben’s face relax but I was not done talking, “I should cut off his head.” I saw Arnold's face whiten at my suggestion. I had no intention of doing that but it was still satisfying to see that my words could fill him with fear. “Shall we proceed to speak of something else? Or is my fertility the only issue that concerns the Council?” My question was met with silence. I smiled—the meeting continued undisturbed. Damien's POV “Children, I want you to meet your new teacher,” the lady who had walked me into the classroom said in a cheery tone. I easily spotted Jeremy in the middle row, he was seated with a blond girl. I tried not to fixate my gaze on him as I did not want to spook him. “You will address him as Professor Damien,” she said with a smile that did not quite reach her eyes. The blond seated beside my son raised her hand up. “Yes, Sasha?” the woman's voice was not intrigued. I could guess from her tone that the blond was no

“This is the class you will be lecturing,” we entered a large class where the students were already seated. I could not say that I was particularly fond of what constituted my class. None of the smiled at me even though I had breezed in with a smile. “You don't smile here,” Thatcher whispered into my ear and at once I fixed my facial expression. “This is Professor Olivia, she will be lecturing you on battle strategy,” Thatcher introduced me to the class. I had the urge to raise my eyebrow at the introduction. Processor Olivia? Me? A professor? “Every teacher here irrespective of whatever position they hold outside this walls are addressed by the title professor while every student is called comrade. The college does not acknowledge title,” Thatcher explained to me. That was alright with me. I did not mind being called a professor one bit. If anything, it had a nice ring to it. I felt that I could enjoy being a professor more than I enjoyed being Luna. “I see, thank you, Thatche

“Don't push it.” “Fine, Olivia will be teaching at the war college just outside the Black Thorne pack and Jeremy will begin classes there too,” said Austin. I looked at him intently, certain that he was going to tell me that it was all a prank but he looked pretty serious. “Do you know what this means?” I asked, excited at this news. “An opportunity to become close to your son. Let's hope you don't screw this up with your pride,” replied Austin to which I rolled my eyes. Olivia's POV The academy was built like a fortress. From the outside its structure appeared dome-like and squat so that it appeared smaller than it actually was. “Mama? Why is it so ugly?” Jeremy asked as he gripped my hand tighter. I could sense his nervousness. He had never been left alone outside the palace before so I understood how overwhelming this was going to be for him. “Ugly? What's so ugly about it?” I asked him with a chuckle. “I'm not sure about this place, mum. It's… it's just weird,” Jeremy com

I blinked several times wondering what she had meant by those words. “Sorry?” “The Council has begun to whisper about the paternity of Jeremy. I'm just saying that the war college could be a good backup plan,” her tone was serious. She meant what she had said. It made me worry for myself and my son. I looked in the direction where Simeon stood. He had carried Jeremy and placed him on his shoulders. He loved Jeremy, that much was obvious but could it ever be enough? Damien's POV “Do you not like the women we have chosen for you?” Councilman Richard asked in his irritating gruffy voice. I always fought the urge to puke whenever he spoke. I saw Austin trying to still in the urge to laugh beside me.“There is no doubt that they are excellent women but like I have said to you before, I have a son and he is heir to my throne,” I looked at all their faces as I spoke so that my meaning was very clear. Even if I were to have another child, Jeremy would remain the heir to my throne. This w

Olivia’s POV The full moon festival was in full swing. I had planned everything at the last minute but it was still perfect. I remembered that when Someone had first brought me to his pack, Prinsca had been responsible for planning the events at the palace. When I became Luna, she refused to give that up. “What possible knowledge can an ordinary omega have about hosting events at a palace?” had been her response when I had told her that year that since I was Luna, it my duty to gist the festival. What Prinsca did not know was that I had been Alpha Damien’s lover and so I had helped him plan several balls as he had no Luna. “If I fail to do it right you can host the events for the next five years,” I had said to her to which she had scoffed. She was convinced that I would ruin the event. I had begun planning that year and when it was obvious that I was doing a good job, she had tried to sabotage my event. Fortunately, Reuben had told me about her plans and I had been able to avoid t

Simeon’s pov“What the fuck is this?” I demanded and at the sound of my voice all of the maids dispersed. “I'm doing what you cannot do, plan the festival,” came her sassy response. “This is my palace and I did not…” “Your palace?” she scoffed, “you lowly omega,” she gave a short cruel laughter and continued, “what? your history is public knowledge.” “So?” I stared her dead in the eye. I wanted her to know that she did not intimidate me. Even if she was sleeping with my husband, I was not afraid of her. “You must learn your place. You are only a filthy omega,” she returned in a menacing tone. “I am your Luna!” I screamed at her but she only laughed as though I had told a joke. She stepped back from me and pointed at Helen, “I think some mashed potatoes would be appropriate for the festival, you will…” “She will do nothing you tell her because I run this place, Helen? Return to your station now! The same goes for the rest of you,” I ordered the servants while staring Prinsca do

Olivia's pov“They have an excellent program for young children,” added Thatcher as an incentive. It would be nice to put Jeremy through a school like that but first I would have to discuss it with Simeon. I doubted that he would be opposed to such an idea but I could not have been more wrong. When I broached the subject with him after he had returned from his council meeting, he flipped completely. “No, Jeremy cannot go there,” he was suddenly full of anger when I mentioned it. I wondered if it was because he was opposed to the idea or if something had happened at the Council that had made him furious. He was usually in a bad mood after such meetings but Reuben had told me earlier that the ban on our cotton trade had been lifted so I had taken that to be a sign that he was in an amiable mood. “It's a good school, you went there yourself,” I tried to make him see reason but he was not interested in listening to me. He was too upset to see any reason in what I was saying. “He's too

Olivia's POV While Simeon was away on a Council meeting with the other Alphas, I was forced to spend my time with some ladies at a tea party. It was dreadfully boring and at every point I yawned to not to show that I was bored but I really was. I was looking for the quickest way to leave the tea party. I could not endure one more second of their dreary talk about the weather which had been the centre of conversation for the past fifteen minutes. “The Luna looks rather bored, I take it our discussion of the weather does not fascinate you,” remarked Prinsca. I allowed a smile to stretch on my lips as I replied to her with, “it is a most fascinating topic, the weather.” Even though I meant to say that it was a rather dull one. Who wanted to discuss the weather? Winter had begun and it was rather harsh this year and would be even more so in consequent days but there was no usefulness in explaining the weather in such lengths as though it were the most important thing in the world. “Per

Simeon's POVI stared at Damien with hard and unwavering eyes. He sat opposite me in the council room, giving me a pleading look, while still trying not to appear weak in front of other Alphas.I scoffed in annoyance, taking my gaze away from him. Usually, I hated having to come to these meetings, but it was inevitable as trade and other matters brought us together. Then, today, I had a purpose for being here.We were all waiting patiently for the session to begin. The clerk shuffled through papers of the agenda today. I waited with bated breath, looking at the clerk—wondering if my petition was going to come first and what the verdict would be.The clerk cleared his throat and began. "The first agenda and proposition is from Alpha Simeon of the Black Thorne pack. To allow Black Thorne to trade cotton again to help them recover from war.""I second the proposition," Alpha Damien said immediately as if he had been waiting for the clerk to speak, as if he already knew what the clerk was
