JONEA

Arman took me to a particular room behind the stage. It's like a stage play or opera, although I'm not sure.

"We will directly start the auction for you today. Because you're special."

I stayed silent when Arman put iron shackles on my neck, hands, and feet. I am like a beast that must be secured by iron shackles interlocked by chains.

Even though the shackles were very loose, I had some objections because they were made of iron. This is very inconvenient.

"Do these shackles hurt you?" asked Arman patiently.

I can't tell the truth. I can only show a flat, expressionless face and shake my head at him.

"I'm fine."

"Sorry, Jonea. I have to do this for you. These shackles are only a symbol and a requirement for the auction process. Think of it as showing potential buyers that you're safely sealed. I hope you understand what I mean."

I just nodded grimly. Even though my wolf soul hasn't appeared yet, I'm still a beast everyone hates. Instantly I feel nauseous when I have to imagine my changes later. My body will be covered with fur. I will have enormous fangs and jaws. Sharp claws. Frightening growling sound. Not pretty at all.

That day, Arman asked me to change clothes. I also wore a knee-length white dress provided by the auction company. Arman said this dress symbolizes that I have given up my freedom as a human being and will now belong to someone else.

If you want to know, why would I want to sell myself?

I'm not selling myself, but I'm looking for anyone who can awaken the wolf soul in me. Of course, he has to be someone who can afford a high price and has strong power. Because, in the future, I will need a lot of money and protection to take revenge on those who have hurt me.

Arman still added a white hood made of silk to protect my head and part of my face.

"No one can see your beauty other than him who can see your strength and buy you at a worthy price."

I'm just quiet.

"Come on!" Arman said while inviting me to walk first.

I barefoot and walked out of the room. At that time, I was like a slave about to be bought and sold. But, this is better because I can decide which master will take me.

I padded behind Arman. We are in a vast hall. The hall is more like a ballroom dance party. There were many invited guests present there. They come from various backgrounds of life and race. Most of them are witches, vampires, and werewolves, of course.

All those races are fighting for power. However, in this auction room, I realized one thing. They all got together and waged war in different ways.

I thought back to the auction at Abraham High School. If only this time there was Aland, who also came and was willing to redeem me?

I shook my head to wake me up. Aland won't be able to protect me. He does not have enough strength and power for my cause. Because of that, I had to let it go.

The room had dim lighting. Apart from supernatural beings, various kinds of magical power items and rare living creatures are up for auction. Everything is stored in glass cases, showcases, and golden cages.

When I followed Arman, a number of the auctioneers looked at me in awe and envy. I didn't care and continued walking straight while lowering my face.

"Is she really a saint? Her body looks weak. She's just a slave."

I can hear someone talking about me cynically.

"I have long heard of the red moon girl. But I've never actually seen anything like her. Who wants to buy her? What if she isn't a red moon girl?"

"If it's true that she's a rare Red Moon girl, then it's lucky whoever gets her. That person can get strength and blessings from this girl. However, the conditions take work. He should be able to awaken the wolf soul in this girl."

"I think the warlocks and wizards are getting ready to get their hands on it! Only they can awaken the wolf inside the red moon girl."

Everyone kept whispering and talking. I just glanced. I have seen many supernatural beings in my human life, especially werewolves. But here, I see them more clearly in various forms and types.

In their original form, they do not resemble humans. But they also lacked an aura of life. I don't even know what kind of creatures they are.

I stood on the stage, witnessed by dozens of bidders who would be my potential buyers that day. I could only lower my head and stare at my hands shackled by chains.

I don't care anymore. Everything is tiring enough. My life as a human being and the fact that I'm a lycan bothers me. No one wants to accept me. Right now, I just want to have a place to go home and take shelter. Whoever buys me later, I hope he is my place to come home to.

The auction host started to introduce me to my prospective buyers.

"The main thing you've been waiting for has arrived. What we display is rare and valuable among those we have ever offered."

The bidders were so enthusiastic. One by one, they started asking prices; the longer the prices they offered, the higher.

The door to the auction room suddenly opened. Me and everyone gasped. The atmosphere became silent for a moment.

From under my silk veil, I could see a man in black robes approaching. He entered with haughty steps. He carried a cane and swung it as he walked. It was as if he didn't care if he was interfering with the auction that day.

The auctioneers who recognized the black-robed man were slightly surprised.

"So?"

"Why is he here?"

"Doesn't he hate crowds?"

"Yeah, he barely appeared in about 100 years. What made him suddenly come here?"

I need some clarification. Who is that man? He had a powerful aura. I'm shaking violently.

The man continued to walk gracefully and confidently toward the stage. He drew closer to me.

"Anyone wants to bid higher?" said the master of the auction program in a trembling voice.

The black-robed man stepped onto the stage just like that without asking permission. The auction host was so panicked.

"Sir, what are you doing? Please take your seat, and don't go on stage without being asked."

However, the man didn't care. He kept walking towards me. I started to get scared and looked down. I want something else. I could die in his hands.

From under the silk veil covering my head, I could see the toe of the man's shoes and the wooden staff he was holding.

"50 million coll!" said the man to the auction guide. "I will buy her for that price!"

Instantly I lifted my face.

I could hear and feel that everyone was shocked. The price this man gave was so high that it was impossible even for anyone to bid above that price.

The man suddenly pulled on the chain holding my neck so tightly that I was suffocating. The silk veil lifted from my face.

Our eyes met. Even though he was wearing a black mask, I could feel a murderous and cruel aura from the man's eyes behind the mask.

I opened my eyes wide as he opened his mask slightly to see my face.

"Lycan king?"

Unknowingly I had backed away in fear with my body trembling violently. My neck is getting choked.

Impossible!

The man gripped my left arm tightly. "I have decided; you will be my bride!"

I suddenly feel sorry. I kept my head down and clenched my fists tightly.

JONEAI was sitting in what felt like endless darkness. No sound except the echo of my own breath, no movement except the shadow of myself fading on a pitch-black floor like cracked glass. I knew it was just a dream, but it felt so real, like a trap I couldn’t escape.Suddenly, a voice broke the silence—cold and familiar.“Jonea,” it called, echoing through the void. “I know you can hear me.”Luke Draken. My body tensed, but I couldn’t see him. Just his voice, flowing with power and certainty.“Surely you’re starting to understand the dragon blood flowing in your veins,” he continued. “You can’t deny it, Jonea. Our bodies were bound long before the red moon rose.”In the dream, I touched my own body. My hand brushed against something that shouldn’t be there—hard, sharp scales covering half of me. I gasped, choking on a sob. What had happened to me?Luke chuckled softly, mocking. “I will live inside you forever,” he said, his voice drawing closer, as if whispering directly into my ear.

JONEAIt seemed like Luke noticed something off about my body. He grinned widely and tossed Hunter to the ground like a rag doll. Then, in a swift move, he picked me up and laid me down on the marble altar. Why? What’s happening to me? My chest felt tight, my whole body burning. I was so thirsty—desperately craving someone’s touch, someone to soothe me.Without realizing it, I started moaning and gasping at the same time. Luke gently lowered me onto the altar, then climbed over me with a calculated ease.“Union,” he whispered. “You’re breaking the seal. And when the crimson moon reaches its peak, your pure blood will be mine!”I couldn’t control my body or my thoughts anymore. Pain surged through me as I let out a scream. My eyes flew open, my head tilting back to stare at the dome’s opening. The full crimson moon stared back.“Ahhh!” I cried out as sharp fangs pushed out of my mouth, piercing my lips.Luke leaned closer, his eyes glowing bright red—the eyes of a dragon. He kissed me,

HUNTERI turned around to see one of the shadow creatures loyal to me in this secret mission. Its black eyes glinted under the moonlight."The werewolf forces are ready," it said shortly.I nodded. MILLERNever in my life did I think I’d witness something like this—a scene straight out of a legend. Standing before me were humans from the shadow hunter ranks, werewolves, lycans, dragons, and even jeverics, creatures that had been at odds for as long as anyone could remember. And yet, here they were, side by side, united by a single purpose: finding Jonea before it was too late. The sky was gloomy that day, heavy gray clouds mirroring the tension hanging over us. From the hilltop, I watched the valley below where thousands of figures had gathered, awaiting final orders before the search began.“All of this… it’s for Jonea,” I murmured to myself.Arabel stood beside me, her sharp eyes scanning the crowd with her usual vigilance. “They understand what’s at stake, Miller,” she said firmly, her voice calm but resolute. “If Jonea falls into the wrong hands, it’s not just her life that’s at risk. The whole world is.”I nodded, swallowing the fear creeping into my chest. On the human sid

DARANI’m losing my mind. There’s no other way to describe how I feel right now. My entire body feels like it’s on fire—an intense mix of anxiety and rage. I’ve been searching for Jonea for days, but there’s no trace of her.I’ve scoured every corner of this island, plunged into shadow realms, and even crossed the borders of the Blue Sapphire lands. It’s like she’s been erased from existence, like the wind leaving a faint trail only to vanish without a trace.“Jonea!” I shout, breaking the silence of the night. But only my own echo answers me.Frustrated, I press on, crossing boundaries I’m not supposed to. I find myself at the edge of the Dragon Valley, the gateway to the Land of the Blue Dragons. This is my last shot. If she’s not here, I don’t know where else to look.I’m furious.“JONEA!” I roar again, my voice echoing off the steep cliffs. My rage is so intense that the plants around me wither and die, drained by the destructive energy radiating from my body. But it’s not Jonea w

JONEAI froze, my heart pounding erratically as Luke’s words sank in.“The last time we met was at a graveyard, right?” he asked, a faint smirk playing on his lips, making my blood boil. “More accurately, I saw you. You knew I was there, but you chose to ignore me.”My eyes widened. A graveyard? I racked my brain, trying to make sense of his words. Only one graveyard stood out in my memory—the one where my parents were buried. The day I stood at the edge of a fresh grave, feeling the world crumble beneath my feet. The day I auctioned off my freedom for something far worse.“So,” I murmured, almost in disbelief, “you were there? Watching me?”Luke’s smirk widened. His face was calm, but his eyes hinted at something much darker.“You looked so fragile that day,” he said, stepping closer. “Just a little girl who’d lost everything. It was… entertaining to watch.”Rage bubbled in my chest, but my body refused to move, as if his presence alone was a chain binding me in place. He reached out
