CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

A ray of sunlight breaks through the blinds and shines straight into my face. There's no better way to wake up than being blinded by the sun. In fact, there are better ways, not only better but more exciting. I can think of at least two; surely, there are more. However, that's not something I should think of when I wake up, at least not while there's a hunter in my bed. One day, when I find my mate, if I have one at all, she will sleep beside me, and I'll do anything to make her mornings more pleasant.

I stretch my arms and yawn, waiting for Enya to let out another exasperated groan. She's really not a morning person, and the constant bickering about when I woke her up is starting to get on my nerves.
