If it hadn't been for that lovely lady, I wouldn't have been able to accept the news as fast as I did. Everything the pack doctor told me felt like a punch below the belt. Still, I'm glad she told me the truth and offered to tell me more about the history of werewolves. If Mother Nature decided I couldn't have children, so be it.
The only person I'm really worried about is Vince. He was at the hospital and stormed off as soon as the doctor told him everything. It's been hours since Aros tried to mind-link him and about thirty minutes since Aros left the packhouse. I hope he finds him as soon as possible and drags this stubborn man home. Vince needs to sit down with me and talk. And while I know the news hurts him- there are some things in life we can't change. And this, unfortunately, is one of them.
