Luna maintained a respectable distance between her and the man as a regards being one of the key people who brought her into the world.

Even though she did not want to associate herself with him and his family, her wife and children thought otherwise. They will always find the time to cause trouble around the hospital, and if it wasn’t for the fact that she is talented and well-loved by her co-workers and bosses. She would probably be fired for being the reason for all the troubles around the solemn hospital.

Just like today, his daughter, the infamous darling princess of the Niden-Miller Family, Harper Miller, and her little bratty brother Arthur Miller. Just like always, they are here to cause trouble.

“Look sis, it’s the unwanted sprout, trying to look cool when she is nothing but an unscrupulous illegitimate child!” Arthur said in a loud voice, he was always there to make fun of her they should be respectful towards Luna since she is a Doctor in this top Hospital. She can easily throw an injection at their side to shut them up, but her educated life tells her no.

“Oh, it’s the bitch who had nothing better to do than to pretend she knows things when she is just a nobody,” Harper said in a low voice but between the three of them, they heard her words completely loud and clear however in other people’s view, her aggrieved look and pitiful glances are proof that she must have said something to stop her brother when in fact she was just adding up fuel to the fire and acting as a green tea bitch.

(PS: The new slang phrase "Green Tea Bitch" is fresh out of the oven and seems to be on everyone's lips. A GTB is a girl who looks very pure and cute and pretends to be harmless and fragile without any ambition. More and more people can not help sticking the label on girls around them.)

Luna faked a smile and nodded her head in their direction before leaving without throwing a second glance. She was 3 years older than them and thought it was worthless to fight kindergarten-level intelligence and would rather spend her time-saving patients.

Harper teared up after Luna ignored her, the slightly flushed cheeks made her look gentle and soft but Luna knew that she must be seething in anger right now.

It was always like this, they will try to stir up trouble and Luna will calmly handle the situation, in her eyes, they are nothing but a bunch of children who are self-entitled brats who grew horns after their parents molded them after their kind.

Arthur grimaced and wanted to say more but held himself back after he saw that Luna had long disappeared from their sight, he grumbled about how much he hated her and assured his sister that they would get back at her.

Suddenly he remembered about the upcoming party and had a plan in his head. He didn’t voice his thoughts until he was sure of it and comforted his sister to the car. The whole time Arthur researched things on his phone and immediately talked to some friends.

He wanted to teach Luna a lesson and this party will be a memorable one. The most important thing about Doctors is their reputation, and once people hear about her filthy reputation, they will hate her and end their connection with her.

Arthur went inside his room and contacted a lot of people, brewing a silent storm, not minding if he will hurt his family in the process. There are people like that. They are willing to hurt others and hurt themselves in the process just as long as they deal damage against their enemy.

Meanwhile, Luna was soon occupied when a code blue patient arrived. She immediately took action and ignored all the unpleasant things that happened just then to administer her patient well with a clear mind and pure intentions.

The patient was called Shiena, she and her friends went bungee jumping and some accidents happened in the middle of their adventure.

The bungee jumping platform was 56 meters high with the world’s highest hydraulic sightseeing elevator aside which was 39 meters tall. From the elevator, people could watch others bungee jumping.

The whole process from the jump to the end of the bounce was only about two to three minutes, so they wouldn’t wait for long.

Sheina, Wella, and Sheina’s boyfriend John were there.

“Are you nervous?” Wella turned to ask Sheina and John.

“Not at all,” John said. Instead, he was looking forward to it. 

Wella shut her mouth at once and remained silent. Although bungee jumping looked very scary, it was safe. Also, he had a strong heart. 

Sheina was full of anticipation too, but he was slightly nervous. 

When they finally reached the launching pad, the second person in front of them was about to jump, so they sat behind them to wait for their turns. 

The lounge near the launching pad wasn’t large, and it could accommodate 10 people at the most minors who were under 15 years old, hadn’t yet fully matured, and the sudden shock might affect their normal growth and development in the future. As for the middle-aged people over 45 years old, their internal organs were already aging and they could have hidden heart disease or cerebrovascular disease. Under the effect of gravity, it was easy to induce the above diseases, resulting in accidents. 

Moreover, people with poor psychological qualities should not be forced to test their will. Accidents could happen at any time. Therefore, people had to fill out a chart about their physical condition, weight, blood pressure, etc. when they bought tickets. 

After that, bungee jumpers had to measure their blood pressure before they did anything further.

Sheina and her friends finished filling in the chart and walked inside to prepare. Suddenly when it was Sheina’s turn, she started to back out.

“No, no, no, I’m terrified now. I’m not going to jump from here…” She was too scared to move a step forward. 

“Sheina, you can’t step back at this moment. If you do, you’ll lose the game you have with John. John already jumped, and now it’s your turn.” Wella about 20 secretly pushed the girl forward. 

A woman waiting at the side somehow sensed that something must be wrong. She glanced at the girl, and indeed found something strange and decided to step up.

The woman’s friends, however, we're confused.

“No, I’m too scared, and I have acrophobia,” Sheina said and almost cried. 

The woman was afraid that Sheina would go into shock after jumping from the launching pad. 

“Hey, wait for a second!” The woman abruptly stood up, trying to stop Sheina.

A staff member and the two girls standing at the edge of the launching pad also turned around. Wella, who persuaded Sheina to jump, was annoyed when she saw the woman. 

“Since she’s reluctant to jump, you shouldn’t force her to do it,” The woman said. Since she already knew that the girl would be in danger, she thought that she should stand out and save a life.

“Who are you? It’s none of your business,” Wella snapped at her and she looked very unkind. 

“She said she’s scared. What if anything terrible happens to her if she jumps? Who can take responsibility?” The woman walked up to Wella. She now realized that Wella aimed to push Sheina.

“It’s not a big deal. People who come here all say that they are sacred, but it’s fine once they jump. It’s safe even if I push her down right now,” the staff member said, and suddenly pushed Sheina, which shocked the woman. 

“Hey, stop!” The woman ran ahead, but Sheina was already pushed down.

Sheina screamed at once, and the woman was furious. However, it wasn’t the time to argue with them right now she got in the elevator and went down without delay. Luckily, it didn’t take a long time for her to get to the ground. 

Her friends understood that the girl was in danger after seeing her reaction. 

Once she reached downstairs, she immediately went to where the Sheina was at who had now passed out after a shock. She pushed everyone away and said she is a nurse. She mentioned that Sheina is in shock. No one wanted to believe her at first but they soon understood when she took the equipment from the aids at the side and checked her.

She remembered that her friend told her how to handle such situations and quickly calmed herself.

Once Sheina regained her color, she brought her to the hospital which reached the situation of Luna handling Sheina right now.

Just when they thought Sheina was fine on their way, she went to another shock and was even much worse than before.

And luckily, Luna was on duty so the rescuers and the woman breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Luna worriedly and explained what happened.

“Alright Ava, rest for a bit and stand by for my call,” Luna said to her, the friend that the woman meant was Luna.

Ava nodded her head and went to the locker room to change her clothes. She worked as a nurse in Hayes Hospital for 2 years now and had long been assisting Luna for as long as she could remember. They became friends when she kept on pushing herself to Luna until she opened up and let her be close to her.
