Ava knew all the common things about Luna but she knows nothing about things that the woman would not be willing to talk about, for years she had viewed Luna as someone respectable and worthy of her position. It always surprises her that Luna has yet to become a Director of the hospital knowing she had brought the Hayes Hospital to great heights even when it’s already famous, having Luna is like ensuring that they will be an unstoppable medical group.

Luna did well on assisting Sheina and in no time, the young lady soon went back to normal, they looked at Luna as if she was a God who graced them with her presence. It was known that a person who survives a heart attack thrice is very rare and for Luna to easily bring her back just a few minutes after her arrival is like a miracle to them.

Meanwhile, Wella and John were soon held captive by the police when Ava told the police on standby to take them. She explained that during the accident, instead of helping out, they even pushed Sheina and forced her to jump even after knowing her condition. She claimed that there must be something more to it than meets the eye.

Ava could remember that when she was about to save Sheina, John had criticized her and stopped her from doing so, and it felt very suspicious to her especially when she caught on the disdain in his eyes while looking at the poor girl.

They were just high school students and yet to harbor such ill intent was something weird for Ava.

Later on, the police discovered the truth. In face of such intimidating policemen, two high schoolers will surely feel afraid and speak of the truth.

It turns out that the incident was not that simple, Wella and John had long been in a relationship, and Wella who was Sheina’s best friend found out that Sheina liked John for a long time and the poor girl does not know that the two were already together.

Wella thought of something vicious and told her boyfriend that she will give him a once-in-a-lifetime chance to do anything to her body if he helps her teach Sheina a lesson.

They pretended not to know each other and John pursued Sheina, the young boy proposed that if she could go through the bungee jumping activity, then he would bring her to a date. The oblivious Sheina thought it was all just for fun, but the intentions of the two people were filthy.

They just did not expect that Sheina would go to such a terrible heart attack when they just wanted to scare her. Wella ignored the fact that Sheina had a weak heart and thought that Sheina was just pretending to earn pity at school.

Her hatred had long since started when they were young children. Sheina had always been the perfect girl, with good grades, a beautiful face, a powerful family, and good character. However, her weak body was something that Sheina had been insecure about for a long time.

Wella discovered that they like the same man and thus purposely made a story that Sheina is nothing but a green tea bitch in front of, In fact, John had first like Sheina, but with Wella’s constant rebuttal and lies, he came to hate the girl and placed his affection to the pitiful Wella who was just second to the girl he originally likes.

Now that the police heard the story, they could only shake their head in disappointment and feel worried that such a young beautiful girl would be so cold-blooded and think like that towards an innocent person.

Having the conclusion, they immediately called the families of each person and talked about what happened. A few minutes later and all three families arrived at the hospital and went to their children.

John’s and Wella’s family were gravely surprised by what happened and were anxious especially after seeing that Sheina is not a simple girl.

Sheina Briston is the youngest daughter of the Briston Family who owned Briszen Enterprise and Co. They are a powerful family who owns more than 1 billion dollars of wealth and is a formidable strength that one should not belittle. It had a fair share of connections that one word from them and their small companies will go down the drain.

As the darling daughter and only girl of the family, she was held at the palm of their hands, and to see that someone dared to hurt her angered them in bounds and bounds of level. The oath to eradicate the measly Terres and Gavin Family, and never let them set foot anywhere in the Capital. Nor the places that their family had power.

Luna checked Sheina’s vitals and said she was fine and they would have to wait for her to wake up before she went up to check on the family to instruct them on what to do.

Luna thought that whatever they decide to do against the two teenagers is no longer in her control and it would be a waste of time to pry in their business, she would rather operate on another patient to save time and life.

“Dr. Valentine, thank you so much for saving my daughter! We owe you a lot!” An old madam who wore casual clothes but the high leveled brands plastered on it was enough to slap anyone who thinks she looks shabby.

“Please, it is my duty, and besides it’s not me who brought her here, it’s a young nurse of ours, I can call her if you want,” Luna said, her modest character pleased the Briston family and held an even higher opinion of her. Luna excused herself to page Ava who was on stand-by and arrived in no time.

“This is Ava Killian, she saved your daughter, one of our talented nurses.” Luna briefed them about Sheina’s condition at first then left them space to talk.

She glanced back at the VIP ward where Sheina was and saw that she was about to wake up.

“W-What happened?” Sheina was confused although she already opened her eyes.

“You went into shock just then, and this girl just saved your life,” Luna said while referring to Ava who stood beside her. The Briston Family carefully walked to the side looking eagerly at her but made sure not to cause any trouble.

“Yeah, you should thank this girl.” Madam Briston said as she walked towards her daughter and held her by the hand, her eyes filled with unshed tears as her brows furrowed in fear and worry.

Hearing that, Sheina realized that she suffered from shock because of bungee jumping.

She trembled in fear. “I-I…”

“You’re fine now, so go have a rest,” Luna said to comfort her. Because Sheina just woke up and she could barely talk, Ava directly helped her up into a sitting position before settling her with a few pillows to support her.

Sheina felt a little shy, but Ava didn’t give her a chance to reject.

Her eyes landed on the figure of what seems to be John who was being reprimanded by his father outside the room and beside her was Wella who was crying pitifully, her hands wrapped around John’s arm, seeking affection as their parents expressed their disappointments to them.

Sheina could vaguely understand what happened, her heart felt like it was being torn into pieces, and Luna who was at the side quickly understood her thoughts and gently cupped her hands. She won't know what love was, but she knew it's painful to be betrayed and made a fool by someone you love.

“Baby, are you okay now?” Madam Briston asked, Sheina quickly forgot about John and Wella and soon was faced with her parent’s worries. They made sure she was comfortable at all times and spoke of their anger towards her not thinking of her body and liked some assholes.

The Briston couple had long known Wella since their child likes her, they always thought she was kind but was still suspicious of her especially when their butler and some maids would speak of how many times they have seen her glaring eyes towards Sheina when she visits. They should have known that her insecurities would escalate like this.

The Briston family had wanted to pay Luna and Ava for their big help but they immediately refused it since it would be against their beliefs, it was already enough that the hospital charges them as well as the doctor fee, it would be daylight robbery if they still ask for compensation for an act that any humane person would do.

“Well then, if you need help, you can always come to us, whatever it is as long as it’s legal.” Lawrence Briston said, Sheina’s father. Ava nodded her head in assurance and after a few more topics, they settled with an invitation for a meal once Sheina got discharged.

Luna went ahead herself and said he had more things to do, and since everyone knew how important her time was, they nodded their head in alacrity before seeing her out of the VIP room.

The whole day, Allana operated on 2 persons and had consultations for their mental state and whatnot, it was a normal busy day, and luckily unlike yesterday, she managed to squeeze some time for lunch but she had to hasten her pace since there are more of them waiting patiently for her.

“Dr. Valentine, my son has been pretty bipolar these days, and I don’t know what to do about him if he keeps on insisting that he is okay when he doesn’t look like it” A mother with her son reported. She looked at Luna and hoped that Luna could help them see what was wrong with her son.
