Chapter 24

Her blood was boiling and her breathing was getting heavier every time he sucked on her neck. She felt as if she was about to pass out. Her heart rate accelerated even more. She tried pushing him away from her, but he tightened his grip on her hips again. The sound of footsteps got closer and closer. The steps grew louder as the person was near. She closed her eyes tightly, praying for Halsey.

"Stop it!". A familiar angry voice yelled.

She opened her eyes slowly. She could see a man in black clothes walking toward the room.

She looked at him with her teary eyes.

"Sshhhh, Sha, shhh" the man hushed as he knelt in front of her.

"Halle, help", Shana begged.

"You need to calm down. I'm going to get us out of here," Halsey said. He put one arm under her body and helped her to sit up.

Shana's head hung down, covering her face with her hands. She was scared and overwhelmed. The pain from her ankle was unbearable, almost unbearable. The pressure was too much. She was struggling for breath.
