John's gaze fell on Robin, colder than before. "I don't want to hear something like that a second time."

"Boss…" Robin started, but one look from John forced the rest of his words back down.

Pamela heard their exchange. Her fingers tightened on the blanket as a wave of fear rose in her chest.
