What did she want? Who sent her? Questions, but who would answer them?

Since there was nowhere for her to run into and it was already too late as the woman had found her already, Angela decided to put on a false bravado and face the woman head on.

Angela nearly groaned and dropped to the ground in surrender when another shadow appeared behind her and she realized that the woman was not alone. She has been so focused on the masked women she did not hear or notice the other person…. No, it was more than one person because other shadows appeared. They were coming from every angle and now, she was in the middle.

“Who are you people?" Angela finally asked. She offered a little thanks to the moon goddess when her voice came out firm and did not give away her fear.

“Hmm, a brave one. I see"

It was the masked woman that replied. It felt like she was praising Angela for her boldness but her tone was insulting and Angela could see the woman's blue eyes looking at her from head to toe.
