Unfamiliar woman

Angela expected to wake up in so many places —- the cold floor of a dungeon, tied up to a chair in a dark building and so on — but where she woke up was in a beautiful room and on a bed. How?

Angela was lying on her back and she could feel a dull ache at the back of her head; her head was wrapped up because of the blow she took. She did not know how long she's been out or whose room she was in now.

Whether she was saved from that woman and the men that came for her by Lothar's men or if the woman succeeded in taking her away.

Only thing she knew was that she was alive and still in one piece and even if her head felt like it weighed a ton, it was another day to be grateful that she was still in the land of the living.

She tried to sit up on the bed, it was supposed to be a chore and Angela was very ready to struggle but soft and warm hands reached out to help her up. She had not noticed that she was not alone in the room; there's a woman sitting on a chair beside the bed.
