Amelia stood in the middle of the room, frozen. She stared down at her feet in embarrassment. God! Why didn't she look around? What the hell was she even thinking coming into the meeting hall.

That must be the reason he was calling her. Trying to make her stop.

Oh god! How foolish she was.

But why? Why does she have to embarrass herself.

Amelia swallowed the heavy lump in her throat before speaking. "I'm s-sorry." She apologized very quickly and scurried out of the room, not daring to look up.

Amelia let out a loud wail, falling down unto her bed. Oh! Why does the heavens hate her? They should have warned her?
