She jerked up from the bed, panting heavily. Her nightie was soaked in sweat, her heart racing faster than ever. She took in several breaths trying to calm herself down. It wasn't working, she was having mini panic attack. She placed her hand on her chest, trying to take in deep heavy breaths.

"Hey, easy, easy." She flinched a little when she felt a big palm on her shoulder, rubbing it gently. She took a deep breath slowly as he rubbed her back soothingly.

"Thank you." She whispered timidly when she was finally able to catch her breath. Leaning down on the headboard, she stared around the room, wondering what time it might be. It was plain dark outside, it might probably be midnight.

She closed her eyes and took in several breaths, trying to remember what happened previously.
