Chapter 6

"She's his mate." Derek revealed, swirling his chair side to side slowly. A cigarette between his fingers, the tip shining bright red as the bright rays of sunlight shone through the window, illuminating the room.

"She's his.... She can't be." Greg said, shaking his head negatively. "We killed his mate remember?"

"Godd... Why are so dumb Greg?" Derek asked, slurring his words slightly. He sat up on the chair, dropping the cigarette on the ashtray. "She's his second chance mate idiot."

"Ohh." Greg raised his brows in realization. "So what do you wanna do?"

"What do I do best?" He asked and picked up the cigarette, taking it to his mouth before taking a smoke. "Kill her." He added and puffed out the smoke from his mouth.

"What?!!" Greg's eyes widened in shock. "We can't do that! He'd come for us again! He'll kill us!"

"That's if he finds us." Derek replied immediately, unfazed by the whole thing.

"Of course he would! He's the Alpha king, you can't underestimate him!"

"Shut the fuck up Greg!" Derek snapped with a frown on his face. "Are you with me or you still wanna be scaredy-cat?"

They both stared at each other for a while before Greg groaned and mumbled. "Fine."

"Good, now leave. I need to think." Derek said, waving his hands dismissively.

Greg stood up from the chair and walked to the door, exiting the room.

Derek took a deep breath, letting out a sign of relief as soon as Greg left the room. He has seen another way to get back at the Alpha.

*Bastard thinks he won that war*

Him, Derek Ferguson would stop at nothing to make him miserable. And that starts now.

Amelia placed around the room nervously, trying to stop her heart from racing fast.

She doesn't know how she came up with such an idea but she's doing it. There's no other way.

She paused and stared at the door before picking up her bag, exiting the room.

Sebastian took a deep breath, rubbing his hand on his forehead. He can't wait to get home, his home in the pack actually. He's sick and tired of the human world.

He walked out the elevator, heading straight out of the company.

As soon as he stepped out of the company, the bright sun hit his skin, her scent filled his nose again.

She was here. The human girl.

Sebastian stared around the compound slowly, he felt it. She was coming to him.

His brows knitted into a frown immediately he spotted her walking to the building. He could hear how fast her heart was beating.

He tucked his hands into the pocket of his pants as she approached him, squeezing her fingers together, obviously fidgeting.

"Hi." She greeted, her voice shaking slightly.

Sebastian stared at her for a few seconds with a deadly look on his face. "I warned you to stay away from me." He reminded in a deep cold voice.

"Yes, but I have a question for you." Amelia said, glancing up at him before taking her eyes back to her entwined fingers.

"I owe you no answer human." Sebastian replied in a cold voice before he turned around, heading to his car.

Amelia stared at his huge retreating figure, groaning defeatedly. "Wait! Wait!" She yelled, running to him as he kept walking non-stop. "But, why, why do I see you in my dreams?"

Sebastian froze immediately, staring at her over her shoulder, his brows raised in confusion.

"Yes." Amelia let out a sign of relief, knowing he would listen to her now. "I see you in my dreams every night. It's been two years now." She explained further, using her hands to push her blonde hair from her face as the breeze blew heavily.

"That?... That is none of my business." Sebastian deadpanned, walking closer to his car.

"But, it's weird seeing you in my dreams. I don't even know you!" Amelia yelled exasperatedly.

Sebastian glared at her from over his shoulder, his hands rolled into a tight fist.

Amelia continued nevertheless. "Why? Why aren't you even concerned one bit? I see you in my DREAMS! It's like a war-"

"Shut the fuck up." Sebastian hissed. "I don't know you or anything about your dreams, now stay away from me human." He seethed and walked to his car, opened the door and stepped in, driving out of the premises.

"Aargh!" Amelia groaned, stomping her feet. *Why is he being a jerk?*

"You've been hell worried these days." Cookie said to Amelia as they both walked side to side down the dark lonely street.

"It's weird you chose to close early today." Amelia said with a nervous smile, obviously trying to change the topic.

Cookie scoffed, tucking her hands into the pocket of her baggy jeans. "Lev's sick, he got injured trying to protect the company yesterday while it was robbed, I have to get home early to take care of him. That's it, now tell me what the hell is wrong with you?"

Amelia heaved out a heavy breath staring around the street filled with other passers by. "I already told you Cookie, nothing's wrong with me. I just kinda miss home." She explained taking a quick glance at Cookie before taking her gaze around the street, her lips stretching into a sad smile as the cool breeze blew her blonde wavy hair around. "If I get a lot of money now I'll-"

"-go home, in Brooklyn and spend a month with them and my little sister." Cookie cut her off, completing her statement with a small smile on her face.

"Oh god, you know me so much."

"So much you can never imagine." Cookie chuckled, entwining their fingers together.

"I miss them so much."

"Yeah, yeah I know, but that's why I'm here for you." Cookie reassured, squeezing her fingers lightly.

"Thank you so much Cookie." Amelia said, her lips stretched into a wide smile.

"Sure, come on, hurry up I have to get home." Cookie urged and walked faster, dragging Amelia along with her.

"The Alpha king has returned to his pack." Greg announced immediately he stepped into the room.

Derek sat up on the chair immediately, a smirk appearing on his face. He has been waiting for this information for the past few days. He can't wait to execute his plans.

"Tomorrow?" He asked with his brows raised, his hands on the table, with his fingers entwined together.

"That'll be too early, let's wait a little." Greg said in a deep voice, also raising one of his eyebrows at Derek.

"Then we wait." Derek concluded with a smirk plastered on his face.
