Chapter 7

*Two weeks later*

"Lupe."

She looked up immediately when she heard the now familiar voice whisper. She looked around and saw that she was in a room, standing close to the open door to the balcony. And then she saw him. 'Sebastian' with the red head woman, holding her hands.

"Sebastian," She called softly as his hands traveled to her face, rubbing her chin softly.

She walked closer to them and opened her mouth, trying to speak but no words came out, it felt like she went dumb for the moment.

Suddenly, she was teleported to another scene. This time around, they were in a big empty room, almost like those ballrooms she has seen in movies.

She turned to her right when she heard voices again. "Go Lupe! Hide! I'll be back!" She heard Sebastian yell and she could feel the fear in his voice.

"But, let me help you. I can-"

"Shhh, listen to me this one last time Lupe, go to the basement and hide." He paused and stared into her eyes like he wanted what he said to sink deep into her head. "And don't come out till you hear me call you, okay?"

"But Sebastian," The redhead lady called in a teary voice.

"No Lupe, go hide!"

Just like before she teleported to another scene. It was like a war field, but only this time it wasn't the usual war of humans. It was like a war between those mythical supernatural creatures she's seen in movies.

"Lupe! Go back!" Sebastian yelled at her, this time he was facing her directly like she was the 'Lupe'

"Sebastian no! I have to help!" She felt herself say.

How was she suddenly in the body of Lupe?

"No Lupe run!".

"Let me help you!"

"No Lupe! Just fucking run!"

"I...." She stopped talking when she heard a loud screech behind her. She turned around to see another creature flying to her in full speed with a green spear in its hand, before she could react it pierced the spear straight into her heart and flew away leaving her to scream from the excruciating pain.

"Lupe! Noooooo!!!"

Amelia jerked up from the bed, panting heavily. She placed her palm over her chest, trying to subdue the fear that once again enveloped her.

*Why does this have to happen all the time?*

Amelia shook her head, sighing exasperatedly before climbing down from the bed.

She walked straight to the kitchen, pulling out a bottle of water from the freezer, pouring some of its contents into a glass cup. She took the cup to her mouth and gulped down all its contents, letting out a deep heavy breath.

She pulled out a stool, about to sit down when she heard a knock on the door.

Amelia froze and stood still, waiting to hear the knock again or maybe she was mistaken.

Amelia stared around confusedly when she heard another knock on her door again. She walked to the parlor as silently as she could, taking her eyes to the clock hanging on the wall.

2:37am??

What the hell?

Who the fuck is knocking at this ungodly hour of the night?

"Who is it?" Amelia asked as she walked closer but slowly to the door.

She tightened her robe around her when she heard no response.

Her heart skipped a beat when she heard another knock on the door. Who the hell is it??

Summoning all the courage she could, she walked to the door and held the door knob, muttering a few prayers under her breath before she turned the knob slowly, pulling the door open.

"Hello Amelia."

She looked up to see the guy from the other night. What's his name again?

Derek. Standing at her door with a smirk on his face.

This time around he was dressed in a black leather jacket, black shirt, black jeans and black leather boots. His hair wasn't gelled back, it fell on his face with a few strands covering his left eye, giving him the bad boy look and aura.

"Would you let us in or......" He asked, quirking his brows at her.

Amelia's lips twitched when she noticed some other guys standing behind him, they were about six.

Her heart froze immediately, her eyes locked with a familiar one.

Bald head. One eye missing.

With shaky breaths she took her eyes to his arms. Her eyes widened automatically in shock immediately she spotted the tattoo of a scissors on his right arm.

Amelia let out a shaky heavy breath before she turned around swiftly and stepped into the room, trying to shut the door but a let came forward, stopping her from closing it.

Amelia walked back in fear, her hands holding her some of the fabric of her robe in a tight fist as they all walked into the room.

Their faces morphed into a deadly look, well apart from Derek who still had his usual smirk plastered on his face.

"Stay back! All of you!" She yelled in pure fear, trying to act brave, though her shaky voice betrayed her badly. "I said stay back! Or else I call the cops!"

As Derek moved closer non stop, unfazed by her threats, she mentally searched for her phone.

She turned around swiftly and scurried off to her room, going straight to her bag where she thought her phone might be.

As she was about grabbing her bag, she felt a strong hand grab her wrist and effortlessly flung her to the ground.

Amelia let out a small grunt as her back collided with the bedstead. She let out a small breath, pushing her hair from her face and tried to sit up, ignoring the pain spreading through her back.

"Who the hell are you and what do you want from me?!!" Amelia yelled panicking, as she crawled back in fear wanting to get away from them as they all walked into her room, their facial expressions nothing to write home about.

"Well, you'll know that soon princess." Derek said, the smirk immediately disappearing from his face as his eyes turned dark red and he opened his mouth, his canine teeth growing longer into a fang.

Amelia froze, her eyes widened in shock and disbelief, her face turned pale white as all blood suddenly drained out of her face. "Oh god oh god oh god oh god..." She let out a mantra of 'oh god' as she crawled back in fear, letting out a gasp as her back hit the wall.

Derek walked closer to her, his eyes like that of a predator.

Amelia let out repeated short breaths, mentally praying to God to save her.

"When would you learn to stay out of my business Derek?"

They all paused when they heard the familiar voice.

Derek turned back slowly with a look of surprise and shock on his face as he sighted the Alpha king.

Amelia's heart let out a sigh of relief as she felt hope run through her immediately she sighted her rescuer, standing by the door, his huge figure dominating it, sending shivers down the spine of everyone in the room.

She stood up slowly from the ground, doing the ropes of her robe which had loosened in the process of her trying to get away from her 'attackers'.

She took a quick glance at the bald head man standing at the corner, obviously trembling in fear.

*Motherfuckers*

"Sebastian." Derek called through gritted teeth.

He knows him? Amelia's brows furrowed in confusion. Then why did he come to her the other day, asking her of Sebastian.

"Wrong timing Derek, wrong timing."

Amelia suddenly felt a surge of doubt run through her, they already outnumbered him. Could he fight them all?

Before she could think further Sebastian charged towards them, grabbed one by the collar before hitting him swiftly on the wall and flung him across the room.

Amelia's heart stopped racing immediately he turned back to them, yes her heart stopped racing, all air cut out of her lungs.

His eyes were shining bright red. How was his eyes red? They were blue about five seconds ago. Then she saw it. His fingers grew into long sharp claws. Fur, like that of an animal, appearing on his neck to his face.

Amelia stood there frozen, eyes widened in shock as he fought against these men, hitting them across their faces and against the wall like they were nothing but a pathetic piece of paper. Flinging them around, messing up her room.

She was sure she heard the sounds of bones breaking, followed by painful screams and grunts.

He grabbed the attack leader, 'Derek' and pushed him to the wall, sending series of hard blows to his face. He took his fingers to his chest, sending his claws in his chest before dragging it down making Derek scream from the excruciating pain.

Sebastian dropped him to the ground quickly like he burnt him when he felt a bullet pass through his leg. He growled deep from the pain.

Silver bullet.

He turned to his left and glared at the man who shot him. He stared at him menacingly before walking closer to him, trying to ignore the pain coming from his leg.

The man shrinked back in fear and shot another bullet but the Alpha king was quick to catch it this time. He held the silver bullet in his hand and with a low growl, he threw it back into the man's head, killing him instantly.

The Alpha was weakened now. Derek saw it as an opportunity to escape. "Run." He yelled at his fellow men before scurrying out of the room.

Amelia remained against the wall, still in shock. Her eyes wide open, not blinking.

As Sebastian turned to her, his eyes still red, furs still visible on his face and the back of his palm, blood in his hands as he was still in his half shift form, her eyes rolled back into her head before she dropped down to the ground unconsciously.
