(Asher’s POV)
After a few days stuck in the bed, the Baron finally rampaged, stating that he want to at least stroll around the mansion even though he couldn’t escape from it. So that night, I accompanied the Baron while assisting him in his walk.
“W-Whoa...”
He staggered while he walked slowly as he clung onto my arms.
“How can I become this weak just after a few days of not walking? This is embarrassing...” He blushed.
“Well, you were not far away from your rigor mortis(A condition where the body stiffen due to the lack of oxygen to the muscles. Usually occured after approximately 4 hours after death) in your death before, and you also have fever and anemia, so weakness in your body are to be expected.”
I explained to him as I pulled his body near me. For some reason, seeing him all vulnerable as he clung onto me made me restless.
