Annie hung up the phone, and smiled to herself. Sabine was excited about the thought of going for a run with Hugh’s wolf as was Annie, she had often wondered what Knox looked like. Her phone beeped, it was an email from Hugh and once she clicked on it she saw a first class e-ticket for Edinburgh.

“First class, swanky!” cooed Sabine.

“Yeah!” agreed Annie, she had never travelled first class in her life. Annie assumed that Hugh would post the key card to her and it would arrive sometime the next day, but at home that evening there was a knock at the door. Upon answering it, Annie found a courier on her doorstep and after signing for the envelope she took it into the kitchen to open it. Inside, there was a gold key card and a hand written note from Hugh. After directions from the station and various key codes, he had written,

Thanks for agreeing to come, I refuse to spend

a weekend without you.
