Hugh drove to the pack territory and after dropping his bag back with his valet, he went to the new house to see how the builders were progressing and had a last meeting with the architect to rubber stamp the final plans.

He was pleased to see all the new windows were already in and the French doors would be done by the end of the day. All the crumbling plaster had been knocked off and the walls being readied to be re-skimmed. He took some photos to send Annie that night and then drove to Lyall’s to see her and the pups. After dinner with Lennox and his family he and Lennox went into his study to talk. Hugh told him about the weird feelings he had at the apartment.

“Are you sure dad?”

“Yes, simply because Annie felt it too. She had trouble getting control of Sabine she felt that threatened.”

“Odd, well it can’t be the Addisons, we didn’t leave anyone alive did we?”
