Alisha’s POV
I bit my lip and closed my eyes to pretend that I was sleeping, for I didn’t know how to face my husband now.
Alisha, you’re such a coward! You couldn't keep living like this! You needed to confront Archie bravely. But I have loved him for two years, regarding him as the most important part of my life. How could I face the bloody truth now?
Then I felt that that Archie lay on the bed next to me.
"Alisha," a voice called out to me. It was Archie's voice, but it sounded different somehow.
I wanted to have a baby with Archie. Maybe after the baby was born, Archied would focus his attention on us and stay at home.
I turned to face him and reached into his pajamas, my finger ran over his strong body. I was satisfied when I heard Archie’s breath became thick with my touch.
I never expected that I could marry Archie. Apart from his noble status in the pack, Archie was a dream lover for the woman for his appearance. He was the most handsome person I had ever seen. His face was all angles, merely carved from cold stone. I enjoyed touching the strands of muscle showing in his back and throat on the bed.
Archie pressed my waist to him and said, “You’re so thirsty today~”
I wanted to ask him why he didn’t come back last night, and who he was staying with, but I knew I couldn’t bear the answer from his mouth. I felt sad for myself.
“Archie, give me a baby, please.” I wrapped his neck and pled. I never did this thing before. My face was hot and I seemed to have a fever now.
Archie’s hand suddenly stopped and gazed me dangerously.
“Are you sleeping with me just for having a baby?” Archie asked me in a flat voice. The atmosphere seemed to vibrate with tension suddenly.
“Of course.” I replied with a smile and avoided his eyes. I didn't want to show my weakness before Archie. “You know grandma is looking forward to a baby.” And I also need a baby to prove that you love me.
But Archie seemed to be unhappy with my answer, for he loosened his hand around my waist and then left coldly with a sneer. “Yeah, you just care about the baby and want to get more power by giving birth to the next Alpha, but I have no mood to play with you today.”
I closed my eyes and thought, “You indeed have no mood, maybe you have slept with a slut outside, so you absolutely have no energy to cope with me now!” I questioned Archie, “Where did you go last night? I have told you that yesterday was an important day!”
Archie frowned and replied impatiently, “What the hell are you talking about! I dealt with some important things last night.” Then he got up and walked to the bedroom’s door with no hesitation.
My heart broke. “Archie, you are reluctant to go home, you don’t want me to have your baby, and now you can’t even stand staying with me in the same room! Now that you hate me so much, why don’t you divorce me?”
Archie paused as he heard it, “Do you know what you’re talking about?”
“Yes! I’m so clear that you are the noble Alpha from Golden Crest and I am nothing to you. I can’t live with you anymore! We must get divorced! I rejecting you now!" I shouted hysterically, slapping the bed with anger.
Archie just glanced over me and left our room with a cold answer, “Don't use this little tricks to threaten me. It doesn't work on me.”
After the door was slammed, my chin began to shiver and tears gushed from my eyes. It was time to end this terrible marriage. I packed my things and left without any lingering.
But where could I go? Go back to my own pack, Black Furies? No! My uncle Joey was the alpha, so if I got into his pack, he would know soon enough. He wouldn’t allow me to divorce Archie; after all, he needed this marriage to become Golden Crest’s ally and receive its protection.
If Joey knew my plan and status, he would force me to apologize to keep this relationship with Archie. I didn’t want to go back to that depressive cage. I wanted to start a new life. So, before I managed to get a divorce, I had to hide this news from Joey.
Now that I couldn’t go back...
“Nova, sorry to trouble you, but I have no place to go.” I stood before Nova’s house and said awkwardly.
“Never mind. You’re my best friend in the werewolf world! Even though I know only one werewolf!” Nova helped me pull my boots into her house.
“I'm not a real werewolf, you know. I have no wolf and can’t shift.” I sat on the sofa with a sigh.
Nova was human, but she was interested in the werewolf world. So after we became friends at university, she was very excited when she learned about my identity by chance.
“Alisha, what’s up? You look upset.” Nova stared at me worriedly.
I took a deep breath and raised my head to answer, “Nova, no matter what you will hear next, please keep calm.”
Nova nodded seriously.
“I … I am going to divorce Archie.”
Nova's eyes widened, and her mouth opened to scream. I hurried to cover it to stop her.
After she calmed down, she looked at me with pity, “Alisha, you must be very sad. But I am on your team no matter what you want to do.”
I hugged Nova tightly, feeling her warmth and support. It was a relief to have someone who understood and cared for me in this difficult time. "Thank you so much, Nova. You're the only one who's stood by me through all of this," I said, my voice cracking with emotion. "I'm sorry that after the divorce, you won't be able to come to Golden Crest anymore. But if you're willing, you're always welcome to visit my pack, the Black Furies."
Nova smiled at me, her eyes filled with compassion and understanding. "Don't worry about me. You're more important to me than the werewolf world," she said, patting my back gently. "And I'm so proud of you for having the courage to get out of your terrible marriage."
As I listened to her words, tears streamed down my face. It felt like I had been wandering in a desert for days, parched and alone, until Nova's words were like a life-giving rain. Her support meant the world to me, and I knew that I wouldn't have been able to make it through this difficult time without her.
"It must have been something truly awful that made you finally decide to leave," Nova said, sensing my pain and offering me a shoulder to cry on.
I nodded, taking a deep breath to steady myself. "Archie cheated on me," I said, my voice trembling with emotion. "Last night, I found that he was staying with Erma."
Nova's eyes blazed with anger as she heard my story. "That shameless slut! She's been trying to steal Archie away from you for ages, hasn't she?" she said, her voice filled with outrage. "And as for Archie, he's a disgrace to the wolf pack. Wolves are supposed to be loyal creatures, but he's nothing more than a cheating dog."
Despite my sadness and pain, I couldn't help but laugh at Nova's words. She had a way of making even the darkest moments feel a little bit lighter. "You're right, Nova. He's always disliked me. He only married me because his grandma ordered him to," I said, a bitter note creeping into my voice. "If it wasn't for me, he would have already married Erma and had their baby by now."
Nova shook her head, her expression serious. "Regardless of what happened before, that bitch is breaking your marriage on purpose now. How such a slut can be a singer on the stage? You can post this news on twitter, making her fans know her true face."
"No, I don't want my marriage to become a joke for everyone. They must mock me that I am such a poor wife who deserves to be abandoned by her husband."
“You are right. After all, as your husband, he has cheated on you during your marriage. I don't know how the werewolf deal with this thing, but in the human world, he would have to compensate you," she said, her voice firm and resolute. "You deserve to get at least 50% of the property you share with him."
She was right, of course. I had been so hurt and angry that I hadn't even thought about what would happen after the divorce. But Nova's words gave me a newfound sense of determination and strength. I took out my phone and quickly texted Archie, "If you agree with my rejection, I want at least 50% of our property."
His reply came back almost instantly, and it was even worse than I had expected. "You're dreaming!"
Alisha's POVI saw under the night sky, my pack was covered in flames everywhere, and the air was filled with the constant cries of pain. My warriors were being attacked by rogues, their blood staining the ground, but they remained fearless, bravely picking up their weapons to continue the fight. However, the rogues seemed to possess an undead-like ability. They were shrouded in an ominous black mist, making them seemingly impervious to attacks. Even when bleeding, they felt no pain or avoidance. These rogues had become pure fighting machines.Gray and Orathe activated the Dyess fam
Alisha's POVThe intense pain left my body numb, but for some reason, my consciousness remained clear. Louie's hand was pulled out of my body, and blood spurted out, staining the entire carpet red.My wolf immediately transitioned from the Bay to reality and began healing me. Archie's POVAfter I woke up, I saw Shaunda's concerned expression. "How do you feel, Archie?""I'm okay. Where am I?" I tried to lift my hand to rub my forehead but felt a sharp pain in my arm. The memories of what happened earlier flooded back, and my expression darkened."Don't move. Your wounds are deep; you need rest," Shaunda quickly stopped my actions. "We were planning to go back to Golden Crest, but your injuries were too severe. We had to find a place to treat your wounds temporarily. You had a high fever and were talking nonsense all night. It scared me. If your condition
Archie's POVI was carried away from Blood Dawn by my wolf, blood oozing from my wounds. Yet, the physical pain couldn't compare to the agony in my heart. My heart was dead; how could my body still feel?Alisha's determined face as she stabbed me haunted me. The piercing coldness seeped through every pore when I recalled that moment. She was willing to kill me for another man—her husband, as she emphasized. Husband, a title I once scoffed at, now tore me apart. My wolf seemed distraught too, incessantly muttering and complaining in my mind. "What have you done this time?" "I a

With Nova's assistance, I changed out of my wedding gown and took Louie back to the room to rest.Tonight was the first night of our marriage, and as we entered the room, I felt a hint of nervousness. On the night I married Archie, he didn't sleep with me; instead, he slept in a guest room. Now, looking at our bridal chamber, I felt a bit lost.Louie seemed to sense my nervousness. He comfortingly smiled at me and said, "Sorry, because of me, you can't join the evening gathe
Archie's POVI had fantasized countless times about what my mate had described as her wolf. I wondered what it would look like. Now I knew. It was the most wonderful creature in the world, a gift from Moon Goodness to this world. Moonlight fell on its pure white fur, making it shimmer as if it had walked out of a fairy tale.I opened my mouth, staring motionlessly at the white wolf not far ahead. Its eyes, as clear and beautiful as jewels, met mine, and a breeze carried a delightful scent from its fur. It was the light in this dark world. With just one glance, I knew it must be Alis
