Diane’s POV
“What?!”
My jaw hit the floor.
I stared at him, frozen, my brain refusing to make sense of what I was seeing.
Leo.
Standing right there, at the front of our classroom.
As our new math teacher.
No freaking way.
I felt my wolf, Lana, spinning in circles inside me, howling in disbelief.
“That’s him! That’s him!”
I slapped a hand over my mouth, eyes wide, heart racing. My cheeks flushed hot as I took in every inch of him.
He looked even better than I remembered—clean-cut in a crisp white shirt tucked into tailored blue trousers, his broad chest stretching the fabric, his entire aura radiating power and control. He could’ve passed for an Alpha—hell.
But he didn’t smile. His face was unreadable. Cold. Detached. Like nothing and no one here mattered.
Was he here for me?
My stomach flipped.
Maybe I was wrong. Maybe he hadn’t just vanished that night. Maybe he found me.
"Why not?!" Lana squealed.
My fingers gripped the edge of my desk, knuckles turning white, trying to calm the storm raging inside me. All the feelings I’d buried since that night—everything I thought I’d killed off—came rushing back like a punch to the chest.
And then… flashbacks.
The way he touched me. The way he kissed me like he needed me. The things he whispered when I lay in his arms.
"I love you."
God. That voice still echoed in my head.
I looked around the classroom, and yeah, I wasn’t the only one noticing him. Girls were practically melting in their seats. Hair-flipping. Blushing. Giggling at nothing.
But he didn’t even glance at them. He looked *bored*, honestly—like he wanted to be anywhere but here. And it only made him hotter.
I leaned forward, resting my chin on my hands, watching him like a dream I thought I’d never see again. He hadn’t seen me yet—I was in the back row.
Then the proprietor turned to him. “Go ahead,” he said. “Introduce yourself.”
Leo cleared his throat and finally spoke.
“My name is Leo,” he said, voice low and familiar, “and I’ll be taking over from your former math teacher to help prepare you for your final exams. I hope we can make this easy for each other.”
That voice. Deep. Smooth. Slightly raspy.
Just like I remembered it—except this time, it was cold. Emotionless. Nothing like how he sounded when he said he loved me.
A chorus of “Welcome!” followed, mostly from the girls, their voices a little too high-pitched.
Leo nodded once. “Now, let’s get to know each other. Everyone—state your name.”
He scanned the class as students started introducing themselves from the front row.
Then his eyes landed on me.
And he froze.
His face went pale. His jaw twitched. His gaze locked onto mine like he was trying to figure out if I was real or just a ghost from his past.
I smiled—soft, hopeful—waiting for something. A flicker. A sign.
But nothing. He looked away like I didn’t exist.
The proprietor clapped his hands. “I’ll leave you to it. Good luck, Mr. Leo.” Then he walked out.
Just then, Jaden leaned over from the seat beside me.
“This face…” he whispered. “Don’t tell me it’s him.”
I didn’t answer. I was still too stunned.
But Jaden chuckled. “Wow. It is him. Your mystery man from the club. This is so romantic—he became a teacher just to find you.”
“He didn’t know I’d be here,” I muttered, keeping my eyes on Leo. “It’s probably just a coincidence.”
“Mmhm.” He smirked. “Too bad he’s too old to pretend to be a student. Guess this is the only way he could stay close.”
He nudged my arm. “You do know how messy this could get, right?”
I glanced at him and smiled sweetly. “Worry more about getting humiliated again. He’s your teacher now. He could make you repeat this class.”
Jaden grinned. “Amazing…”
But Leo’s voice suddenly cut through the room.
“Who’s talking at the back?” His tone was sharp, his eyes narrowed. “I don’t tolerate disrespect in my class.”
He was staring right at us like he didn’t know me at all.
Jaden smirked and leaned back. “Most teachers tolerate it from me so get used to it."
The class fell into a stunned silence. Heads turned toward me.
“Silence,” Leo said sharply. His jaw clenched as he stormed down the aisle toward us, his presence dark and intimidating.
“I don’t care who you are or whose kid you think you are,” he said to Jaden. “Disrupt my class again and I’ll personally make sure you fail.”
Jaden raised an eyebrow. “Wow. Seems like you already hate me. Why?”
“I’d say the same to any student,” Leo snapped. “This is your last warning.”
Jaden leaned toward me, but this time his voice wasn’t low.
“We were both talking,” he said loudly. “Yet only I get threatened. Why? Are you two dating? Is he your mate or something?”
Gasps echoed. All eyes were on us now.
“Tell me, Diane… did he take your virginity that night?” Jaden grinned.
My stomach dropped. My face burned.
“Get out,” Leo barked. “You’re banned from my class for a week.”
Jaden stood, still smirking. “Relax. I was just asking her for a pen.”
“Leave now,” Leo growled, “or I’ll throw you out myself.”
Jaden walked to the door but paused beside Leo.
“I’m Beta’s son. Future Alpha, maybe. You really don’t want me as your enemy.”
He turned back to the class with a cocky grin. “Keep your eyes on the school portal. There’s a new scandal coming.”
He winked at me—and left. I closed my eyes and gripped the desk because I knew what he meant.
He was going to leak something. Maybe pictures. Maybe more.
The rest of the class continued introducing themselves, but I barely heard any of it until
“You.”
Leo pointed at me. “Name. And while you’re at it, tell me the name of the guy I just kicked out.”
“He’s not my boyfriend!” I blurted out as I stood. “My name’s Diane.”
Leo raised an eyebrow. “Not your boyfriend—okay. Your seatmate, then. What’s his name?”
“I… I don’t know,” I lied.
He scoffed, turned away, and muttered, “Class dismissed. See you all tomorrow.”
Then he left without another word.
Leo’s POV
I walked out of that classroom faster than I should’ve.
I’d planned to teach today. Had the lesson outlined in my head. But then I saw her. Diane.
And everything went to hell.
What was she doing here?
How could she, of all people, be in the one class I was assigned to?
That night at the hotel—I left without a word. On purpose because Diane was never supposed to mean anything to me which she defied. The sex wasn't casual. I felt what I had never experienced before.
And now?
Now she’s a threat.
She doesn’t know the truth about me. She doesn't know why I left or what I am and I hope she doesn't.
If she finds out, she’ll destroy everything I’ve worked for especially as a hunters daughter.
Because I’m not just a teacher. I’m not even just a vampire, I’m the vampire prince in disguise. On a mission.
If anyone in this pack finds out who I really am, my head will be on a stake by morning.
They hate vampires. We hate them back.
Especially Alpha Kane—the man who murdered my mother and pretended she never stepped foot in his territory. He blamed it on forest beasts. He lied.
Now, I’m here. In his territory to spy. Also In this school waiting for his daughter who we got information would enrol here
She is Kane's treasure and kept her hidden from the world.
I’m going to kill her once she enrolls in this school because when she dies, he will suffer.
And then, the war he’s always wanted? It begins. So no… I didn’t come here for fun and vibes. I came for revenge. But it seemed my fucking heart can't listen to my brain.
That passionate night with Diane was something I thought I could shove away from my mind, but now that she is back as my student, I knew I was cooked.
The worst part wasn't that I wanted her, it was that she knew and I just can't deny it.
"She is a werewolf." I would keep reminding myself but I knew it would take a simple glance to make me vulnerable.
Why was it happening to me? What happened to the walls I built around my heart? The hatred I have for werewolf.
It was still alive but disappears when it is about Diane. When I saw her sitting with Jaden, jealousy coiled in my gut that I had to send him out as punishment.
How was she even more gorgeous in her school uniform, hair tied up in pony tail looking so innocent and petite. I just want to wrap her in my arms forever.
Fuck!
Worst of all, I had already planned on how to get rid of whatever inappropriate videos or pictures of Diane that Jaden had in possession.
The words he said before leaving the class gave me the hint and now I had made arrangements for that.
I can't understand myself anymore because why do I care?
"Mom, is there a way to prevent them from running this test on me, please?" I muttered through mind link to my mother, who was in front of me as I was being led out of the hospital gently. My question made her pause her pace and turn her face briefly to me with a drawn look."Why? Are you scared of anything? If it is about the pain, don't worry. It would only last for ten minutes and be over. Sorry, you have to go through this, but it is very important." She replied back through the mind, her voice filled with love, but she was unaware that this would be my end.Bile rose to my throat, my heart pounding violently in my chest as if it would break out of my ribs. I could feel my legs grow weak and my body shivering as we entered the car that would take me to the royal palace. For the first time I would be brought before the Alpha King, and it wasn't for my initiation.Normally, the only time I expected to face the alpha was when he would mark me a member of the hunters, just like my par
I stood there with tears in my eyes watching the pack hunters and my parents scrutinizing me without taking any further steps closer as their noses flared at the scent emitting from my body."Thank God you guys came. He ran away," I gasped out, shifting my gaze to the window, but they were all gaping at me."The vampire scent is coming from your body, Diane! How?" One of the men voiced out, confirming what others had also realized.Their eyes drifted from me to my parents as if waiting for an explanation as to why I was suddenly giving up such scent."Should we chain her?""How can a hunter child become a vampire?"They all murmured among themselves, and I could tell the only reason I hadn't been pounced on and shackled was because of my parents, who were their leaders."My daughter can't suddenly turn into a vampire. That vampire that left did something to her." The voice of my mother cracked as she walked up to me."Diane, What happened?! Tell us. What did the vampire do to you? And
His touch that was once soothing and comforting was suddenly sending a trigger warning to me, and every part of my being was yelling at me to back away from the danger in front of me.My blood began to boil in rage, and my wolf was going feral against my wish as if she struggled to be let loose so she would attack him."I am a hunter's daughter, so I have their blood. Something is wrong because I can't hold back the urge to expose you. It is getting so hard!" I murmured, swallowing the huge lump in my throat."So you are going to turn against me? What happens to the baby? What about our mate bond? Is it over between us?" His voice broke, and his eyes widened as he moved away from me, shaking his head.Just then, his vampire scent seeped out and filled my nostril, overshadowing the mate scent from earlier, and I could see his eyes turning dark with serpentine pupils, just like the last time."Leo.... Why are you releasing your scent? They will attack you!" I screamed in panic, and his
My eyes fluttered open, vision blurred at first, but as I blinked continuously, it cleared up, and I was able to see my surroundings. The smell of medicine hung in the air, and I could hear the distant beep of a machine with several footsteps hitting the tiled floor. My eyes roamed around, and I was able to tell I had been admitted to a hospital as the white walls stared back at me, forcing me to wonder what brought me here.I closed my eyes, racking my brain to remember because I couldn't recall falling sick. Just as I lifted my left arm, a throbbing pain hit me, making me wince as I stared at the bandage tied around it, confusion striking me."I got wounded too? By whom?" The question slipped from my lips as I tried harder to remember, but I ended up developing a headache.I tried speaking to my inner wolf, but she wasn't responding, as though she was yet to return to consciousness. What actually happened to us?The question was left unanswered, leaving me more frustrated because th
“How did you do it?” He asked under his breath, his eyes brimming with passion as he brushed his lips on mine, then littered small kisses across my face.I blushed hard, my heart racing, and I really forgot how to breathe as I threw my arms around his neck while his hands held my waist tenderly.“How did I do what?” I cooed with a smile as I saw the desire in his ocean blue eyes. Nobody had ever looked at me this way, as if I was a kind of magic that he couldn’t fathom. He stroked my hair, staring at my lips.“I am afraid to taste those lips because I would get addicted again. I would get lost in your charm..” He whispered, rubbing a finger across my lips before tilting my chin towards him.“You also have no idea how badly I want you. My whole body is aching for you, and I only hope I won’t wake up to realize this is all a dream.”His face beamed up with a smile, his eyes sparkling like ripples in the river. He took my hand and placed it on his chest.“You see how hard it beats for yo
Diane’s POVIt was a cool morning, the breeze slapping gently against my skin, but it didn't make me feel any better. My heart thudded harder against my chest, and sweat dampened my palms, grasping my backpack as I headed toward the classroom.Every glance from each passing student made my stomach twist as I couldn’t tell if it was paranoia or reality. What if the whole school had already seen it?What if Jaden really uploaded my nude videos and pictures? What was even worse is this. After much pleading yesterday, Jaden told me I had one option for him not to do this, since he knew how much it would destroy my parents' reputation and make me a laughingstock.I asked him what option I had, and he said something that shook me and left my blood frozen for a minute. It was something I never imagined he would say.He demanded I make a video, saying that Leo took advantage of me that day in the club. If there was anyone that took advantage of the other, it was me.I couldn't sleep last nigh
