Xee looked down at me with amusement in his eyes. He quivered his eyebrows as if to say what-are-you-doing?

I simply shrugged my shoulder and turned back to Katherine. The corner of her lips curved up in an amusing smirk, "Oh, is someone being jealous?"

I huffed out, "Now why would I be jealous? I have no reason to be jealous when he is already mine." I tightened my hold on Xee's arm.

Gosh, what the hell was wrong with me? Why was I being so childish and making a fool of myself? From where exactly this jealousy had kicked in? Maybe it was because now Katherine had accepted and said aloud that Xee was his mate.

She raised her eyebrow, "Yours? Are you sure about that, Delilah?"

My eyes narrowed down menacingly as Akira came forward and let out a low growl, "What exactly are you insinuating here, Katherine?"

She didn't seem bothered by my frustration. She only pouted and tapped her chin, "Well, I never heard you saying that you love him or that you two are together."
