Aria's POV

“Babe, you need to rest. Where are you headed again?” Kael asked, looking at me curiously.

“Adeth wanted to talk privately. I'm not sure what about, I'm going to meet her outside.”

“Please be careful outside, these people are not happy that you're leading.”

“Sure thing, Sir.” I gave him a smile and pulled my tongue out, playfully.

“Whatever, just call out if you need anything.”

I pecked him on the lips and walked outside our door.

“Where are you, Adeth?” I asked through the mindlink.

“I'm just by the training grounds, I want us to take a long walk.”

“No problem, give me a minute.”

My mind drifted afar and I'm genuinely surprised that Kael never asked me to sleep with him. He has been so patient and it is the best gift ever. After we get settled back at the pack we can then work everything out.

I was lost in my own thoughts that I bumped into Nathan and his chosen mate, making out. I hissed out loud and that broke them apart for a while.
