Titan's POV

“Alpha, Kari has left the back.” General Kayne relayed with a stoic expression as he walked into my study.

It's currently the day after my wedding with Kari has abruptly ended. I had sent her to her room hoping that I would confine her and think of a reasonable punishment for her driving an alpha and playing with my feelings and emotions, but barring that she had left made me more angry.

My eyes met the generals equally fierce eyes, but as soon as he met mine his head bowed down hmin respect as he shuffled on his feet. Without thinking I banged my palm angrily on my table.

“How did she escape?” I yelled out in anger.

“I am sorry my lord, but most of the border guards were drinking last night and must have felt asleep when she escaped.” The general said feeling ashamed of the men he commanded.
