The moment Dante and I stepped into the house, I felt like I was being watched, his eyes were not to be seen yet he made himself known, he was nowhere to be seen yet his scent filled me like he owned me and my mark tingled not of pain but of desire.

“I will make breakfast” Dante suggested and I smiled.

“I will be right back,” I whispered, I headed into my bedroom, my eyes lingered against his door when I leaned in toward it and I pressed my ears against it for a second, I didn’t hear anything, not even a single breath.

“Stop being paranoid Ava,” I murmured against my breath.

My bath was short, shorter than I intended because each time I looked away from the door, I felt like Damon walked into my room and he was watching me, it felt like I had no control over my body and how I felt.
