[Alexandria’s POV]
Layla and I climbed on the tree to rest and sleep to avoid werewolves and any animals from attacking us. But I couldn't sleep, because my heart was still aching. I let my tears flow down on my face and I promise to myself that I will only cry tonight. I will never cry again because of Azrael.
How could he reject me? I waited for him for my entire life.
"Alex, are you crying?" Layla whispered. I wiped my tears in silence.
"It's nothing, Layla," I mumbled back, but deep inside me, it hurts like hell.
"You can tell me, Alex..." I sighed. Maybe telling it to Layla will help ease the pain I'm feeling.
"I've met my mate today," I said, and she gasp
They all looked at me like I had grown two heads. “Mister, why did you call me a vampire? I am a werewolf and I came from Blueming Pack.” I said, and their eyebrows furrowed, then eyed me thoroughly. “I can smell the vampire and wolf's blood on you. Who are you?” another werewolf spoke with a serious expression. His gaze fixated on me as he scanned me thoroughly, like prey. “I don’t know what you are saying,” I said, confused. “You’re also a witch! Who are you?!” a brown werewolf stepped forward while glaring daggers at me, then growled. Her eyes turned bright yellow. Now, I don’t understand what they’re saying. Layla shivered while gripping tightly at my waist. Four groups of packs forgot they were rivals for a moment,
“It’s weird...” Tristan mumbled while looking at the deer. “What’s weird?” I asked, eyebrows furrowed. “The deer has no blood,” he uttered. “What?” Anna let out, then stood up and walked closer to Tristan. Anna gasped when she saw the deer. I have to think of a quick explanation. Yvette also looked at the deer closer, “Look, there’s a bite on the deer’s neck!” Yvette said with eyes widened. Then they look at us questioningly. “Oh, we haven’t noticed it. We were hungry, so we didn’t look closely. It didn’t smell bad, so we thought someone killed it recently.” I said calmly and shrugged. They don’t have to know that I did it. “It looks like they sucked all the deer’s blood,” t
I kept hearing Layla calling me nonstop. She was still looking for me. I sighed and went up to the surface. I walked out of the water and sighed while looking at my wet clothes. Still, there were bloodstains on my clothes. It didn't wash off completely besides staying in the water for long. Ugh, I need to change. I should find Layla. I close my eyes and track Layla's scent. She's now in the middle of the woods. Damnit! I also felt another scent around Layla. I run as fast as I can, like a flash. My eyes darkened when I noticed a brown wolf staring at Layla. My anger rises and quickly pins the wolf to the ground when the wolf is about to attack Layla. The brown wolf was strong and scratched my skin. Blood oozed in it, but it healed quickly that made the wolf flabbergasted. My vision changes color and now it's dark red. I growled then I felt my fangs growing lo
"Alex, it's so weird. If you are also a vampire, why didn't you get burned in the sunlight?" Layla asked, confused. Her eyebrows furrowed together. She was thinking deeply. We were currently walking in an open field. It was all grass and the afternoon sun hit our skin. We don't have any idea where we are now. We were walking for almost two hours and my feet were aching. I just shrugged my shoulders and then said, "Is it because I am also a werewolf?" "Maybe yes, maybe no?" she said while shrugging her shoulders. "You know what? Let's stop thinking about that, it's stressing me out." I said nonchalantly. Layla chuckled and nodded. "Do you think we will find the Tibbertan Mountains?" Layla mumbled out of the blue. Bu
Queen Elisha glares at me. "How did you know?! No one should know!" she spat furiously. Her fist was clenching. The ground was also shaking, and the wind blew furiously. "Can you control your temper?" I said calmly while rolling my eyes. "Look, I saw your past. I didn't mean to see it, it just flashed in my head when you touched me." I explained. Her eyes narrowed more. "I don't believe you. Who are you??!" "As I said earlier, I don't know. All I know is that I am different from everyone else." The ground stopped shaking, and the wind came back to normal. She sighed and studied me intently. "I can't even figure you out, which is strange. You smell like a werewolf, a vampire, and then a witch. Are you a hybrid or something? Who are your parents?" I was stunned.
Sabrina's house was so big and beautiful. Big chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling. The tiles were white and black; the wall was jet black and there was a painting hanging on the walls. Oh, a typical house of a witch, but the interior was nice. But it wasn't creepy, it felt so comfortable. Maids in uniform suddenly piled up and greeted us. My mouth hung in awe. "Prepare the guest room," Sabrina ordered the maids. "And prepare some food." "Yes, Your Highness." All the maids said in unison and left, one by one. "Nice house," I mumbled. "Thanks. Follow me." Sabrina said and walked towards the stairs. Layla, Michelle, and I followed her in silence. It fascinated me how the interior of the house was designed. The stairs
Sabrina brought Layla and me into the mall. Michelle is not with us because she had some important things to do. There are many people lingering around the place. I'm not comfortable around these people. I always reminded myself that these people are humans and I can't harm them. My blood thirst is worse here. But Sabrina planned this for me to control my thirst, which was so difficult. I am trying so damn hard not to jump into the human's neck. It was tempting, especially that I can see through their blood all around their bodies like a scanner. I can hear people's heartbeats loudly and it was so tempting. "Hey! Sabrina!" My attention diverted to a woman who was walking towards Sabrina with excitement. The woman was wearing an off-shoulder floral dress. Her long wavy blonde hair was cascading down her back
The wind blows angrily in every direction. The trees swung, and the leaves were falling everywhere. Then, I saw something pouring from the sky. Snow. I stop and look up at the sky. This is the first time that Layla is not with me at the first snowfall of the year. We always enjoy watching and playing together in the snow. But I am too far away from Layla right now. I still can't believe that I teleported myself in the forest not far away from the Shepherds' pack where Azrael felt pain and almost died because of me. But I still despise him, though. When he said he wanted to come with me, I was hesitant. Instead, I asked him if we could go back to his packhouse. And now we were walking towards his territory while I was asking him questions. Azrael told me everything about what happened to all the Blueming packs. I couldn't help but feel sad. The vampires who we
